Chapter 46

Javiare

I couldn't do it, no matter how much my heart was telling me to. I can't give her my blood, if she drained me she would never fogive herself. All of what she worked towards would be for nothing if I ended up dying. Slaming my fist on the couch I silently swore to myself, "why do we always have to go through this $hit?" I said out loud, looking over to the window as I saw the moon, "why make Sophia go through with it? Just leave her out of this and give it all to me, I can take it!" I yelled at the moon, getting up I walked over to the window "she didn't deserve any of this pain, let me take it from her. Let me save her from herself" I pleaded, lowering my head I looked at my hands clutching the windowsill

I then heard the chains on Sophia rattle and her hissing begin to get louder. I turned around and walked over to her, she was about an inch from biteing me. I stood there strong and tall watching her, she continued to claw and bite at me more now that I was closer. She smiled, "come on, just a little" she said with a raspy voice

I shook my head, "I can't" I told her sighing

Her head turned to one side again, "and why is that? I thought you loved me?" She said cinically

That made my blood run cold, i felt my face go white as soon as she said those words, stepping back I turned around. "Its not Sophia" I told myself, "its not her" I kept repeating

"Oh, its not is it?" She said, I turned around to see her head turned on the other side, "who was the one that showed you a good time? Who was the one that fooled around and brought a smile to your face?" She paused and I stood there my mouth agape, without any other responce she continued, "ME! That's who!" She straigtrned her head and pulled the chains as she spoke

"But- I- no,  its not you. Your not Sophia" I pointed and told her, "your just the blood lust trying to pretend and be her!"

Turning around I didn't give her a moment to speak before I started to walk away, I need to create a distance between us while also watching her. As I took my first few steps I was stopped, "please!" I heard Sophia soft voice call out "Javiare please!" She paused as I looked back "Save me!" I saw Sophias beautiful eyes back to normal and tears in them, "your the only one who can save me  please, it hurts so much. I can't do it much longer!"

My heart aced all I wanted to do was give her the world, as I was about to turn around compleetly is topped myself, "NO!" I yelled at myself, "its not her!" I turned around and looked her in the eyes, "your not her, and could never be her" I told the fake Sophia and turned back around

I started walking over to a chair I saw covered by a sheet she started screaming and yelling at me, "you fool!" She paused for a breath, "Sophia will die because of you!" Another breath, "This innocent girl you love will die if you don't-" she was cut off by the trap door being swung open

Juane head looked up instantly, "what she talking?" He asked me pointing to Sophia

I looked at him like he was crazy, "yes, now did you bring the blood?" I asked him

He pulled himself up, "uh, yeah a little, but her talking is not a good sign, it means the blood lust is  getting worse" he leaned back down the trap door and helped Catlyn up with a basket

"We couldn't get a lot, but I think we got enough" she said walking over to Sophia

Juane was about to follow her but I stepped in front "you can wait here" I told him

Then followed Catlyn over to Sophia, Catlyn pulled out a blood back from the basket and brought it to Sophias lips, "here, drink it" she said

Sophia then grabbed the bag with her mouth almost taking one of Catlyns fingers with it, we watched as the blood back slowly drained. Once she was finished she spat the blood bag down and lurged forward, "more!" She screamed, her eyes blood red

Catlyn repeated the same process 3 times until Sophia finished the last bag, she screamed again, "more!" She breathed, "I need more!"

Catlyn shoo ked head and set the basket down, "the hospital only gave us the 4 bags, they said they needed the rest for all of the injured" she looked back at me

Shakeing my head I walked past her, "Juane, take Catlyn out of here, I just need to be alone with Sophia"

Juane took Catlyn over to the trap door, Sophia still begging for more, I heard there steps slowly walk away. As soon as I heard the trap door creak open I stepped to Sophia so she was an inch away from biting me again. I heard Catlyn hop down back into the house when I sighed and brought my wrist up. Sophia looked at it then up at me, I nodded, "drink" I said

I didn't even get to finish when she immediately but into my forearm and started drinking, I heard Juane behind me mutter, "shit" then tried to pull me away...
