Chapter 38

Ashley

My phone ran once already, where could it be? I asked myself fishing around through my things, were about to head out when I heard it ring. Suddenly I heard it across the room on a table, jumping up I stumbled over to the phone and picked it up, "hello!?" I called, "Sophia? Are you ok, what's going on?" My heart beating a mile a minute

It was silent for a moment until I heard an in recognised voice, "hello? Who is this?" I heard a mans voice ask

I froze, "no, who is this" I used my faulce confidence

"Prince Juane Crane, now who is this?" He asked a bit harsher

I laughed a little, "so your the famous prince, well Mr prince if anything happened to Sophia I will personally make it my duty to come after you" I said slamming the end button...

Sophia

Juane looked up at me questioning, I looked down at him, I opened my mouth to reply but there was a loud explosion that sent me off the chair flying. I closed my eyes for impact but opened them when I didn't hit the ground. I looked up and saw Juane his face sweating from worry, "we need to get you some where safe, the castle is under attack I think" he said about to walk to the door

I wiggked my way out of his arms, "no, I need to stay with them" I pointed to everyone

Another explosion followed by screams and crumbles sounded from the top of the stairs, "we can get new servants, but I can't get another you" he said

I then stood close to him and punched him right in the face, his head turning to the left as mu fist hit. His body fell to the floor, his face now read. I lloked down at him then up at everyone, they looked at me with wide eyes, "we need to restrain him" I said pointing to Juanes limp body

They nodded, 8 of them came up with rope and chains. Dragging him to one of the walls we tied him up, locking the chains around him also, "ok, now everyone needs to stay down here, I need to go call my friends and tell them were down here" I said walking over to the door

As I reached out for the door knob Olivia grabbed my wrist, "no, what if something happens?" She asked

Shakeing my head, "nothing will, ill be quick" I smiled and grabbed the door knob with my other hand

I stepped up the stairs the sound of my heels clicling echoed behind me as I held up my dress to climb up. When I finaly made it to the top I cracked the door open and peaked out, I didn't hear anything for a while so I opened the door all the way and walked out. Stepping up to the phone I picked it up and punched in the numbers, looking both ways down the hall. The phones tone the only sound I heard, until a scream brought my attention down the hall towards the ballroom. Looking down the hall i saw a group of vampire guards run towards me, the  phone still ringing. They ran up to me as I was about to scream for help when one held out there hand, "your Prince Juanes fiance, we need to get you away from here and fast" one said

I looked between all five of them clutching the phone to me, "oh, uh, I can't" I said

Another stepped towards me and pressed the holster of the phone down to end the call, "we need to get you out of here now" he said signaling his other men

Two came up at my sides and grabbed me as I was about to run," no, I need to stay here!" I yelled and thrashed

They started dragging me as I wiggled and jerked around, when I heard the most relieving sound ever, "MINE!" I heard Javiare yell at the men from behind me

The other two charged at Javiare, tears flowing in my eyes at the sound of his voice. I knew I was safe if I was with him, all I needed to,do was get to him. The two guards jumped on Javiare holding him down, he looked at me and smiled when knocking them both off of him.

Then the two guards holding me let go and when after Javiare. I was about to run to him but the other guard held me back, "your safety is number 1" he said picking me up and carrying me away

As he did I reached back and yelled for Javiare, "No, please. I need to go back to him!" I yelled

The guard ignored me and kept running, I watched as Javiare fought both the men. I need to do something, I need to get to him. My body and soul told me, so I pulled up my knee and punched the guard crryaing me in the face. He stumbled and dropped me, as soon as he did I landed on my back. Rolling over and getting up I pushed the guard away and sprinted back to Javiare. One of the guards had gotten him in a head lock while the other was punching Javiare chest.

Directing myself at him I jumped on the mans back that was punching Javiare in the chest and he stumbled. Which made time for Javiare to get out of the choke hold, the guard I was on slammed into the wall behind me causing me to let go of him. I slid to the floor and groaned looking up at him, he was about to pick me up when Javiare knocked him over and he fell to the floor....
