The moment Lucas saw Daniella, his mouth dropped open. God, she looked gorgeous, absolutely perfect. Lucas wanted to say so, but found himself speechless. He just kept staring.
Daniella stared back, but blushed when she saw Lucas was speechless. In all the time she'd known him, he had never been speechless, he always had something to say. The fact that he didn't know what to say now, made her blush even more.
Robin didn't know what hit him once the women opened the door, but he found himself just as speechless as Lucas was. Daniella was beautiful, always had been, but she wasn't the one who had captured Robin's attention. It was the Queen. She was a very attractive woman, he wasn't blind. And the Queen knew she was attractive, had probably used this to her advantage. But now, when she was wearing a dark blue, close-fitting dress, smiling gently at his son, she had never looked more beautiful.
Regina was aware of Robin's gaze on her, felt a blush creeping on her cheeks because of it. She reased her eyes to meet his. That was a mistake. Just like everytime she looked into those baby blues, she found it very difficult to look away.
The four of them were snapped out of their trances by Roland. "Wow, you look pretty!", he yelled at Regina. And Regina couldn't help but smile at the little boy. "Why thank you, Sir Roland." He giggled.
Daniella smiled at her little brother, but couldn't help grabbing the boy's attention by saying: "Hey! What about me?" She tickled Roland's sides and he let out a high pitched laugh that made everyone smile. Daniella kept tickling him until he said: "You look pretty too, Danny!" She let out a laugh. "Well, I think both I and Regina agree that you look very handsome." He looked at her with big eyes and than turned those eyes to Regina for conformation. When she nodded, a big smile lit up his face, making him even more adorable.
"Are we going to the ball now?", he asked impatiently. Regina and Robin chuckled while Daniella made her way back to Lucas who had been waiting patiently. They smiled at eachother.
When both Regina and Robin nodded their heads, the five of them made their way to the ball.

When they arrived at the ball, the room was already full with dukes and princes and princesses from neighbouring kingdoms.
Roland immediately pulled Regina's hand, wanting to dance with her. The Queen let out a laugh and lifted him up, swinging him around the dancefloor.
Robin made his way to the Merry Men, who had been invited by Snow and Charming, and talked to them. Though he kept an eye on Roland and Regina.
Lucas turned to Daniella who had a smile on her face, and offered his hand. "Would you like to dance?" Her smile brightened and she nodded, grabbed his hand and let him lead her to the dancefloor. Once there, he pulled her closer, laid his hand on her waist, grabbed her hand tighter with the other and started moving.
Daniella smiled shyly and said: "I'm not a very good dancer." Her cheeks turned a slight shade of red. "I haven't had the chance to learn."
Lucas smiled and squeezed her hand. Daniella's heart fluttered and her breath alter as she felt his breath on her cheek. "I don't know what I'm doing either." He then pulled back a little to look at her flushed cheeks, let out a little laugh as she let out a giggle and then turned serious. "You look really beautiful."
If her cheeks were red before, they now were crimson. She let out a breath and looked to the floor. "Thank you", she said quietly before saying: "You look very handsome."
When she looked back into his eyes, she saw it was now him who had turned a bright shade of red. It made her smile. It was gone a minute later and he returned back to his confident self. He pulled her closer again so that his cheek was against hers and kissed her cheek ever so lightly.
But even thought it was just a ghost of a kiss, Daniella still felt her heart skip a beat. She gasped slightly, but with her lips near his ear, he caught it and couldn't help but let out a little laugh.
It was like she was a completely different person with him. It still shocked her that he had such an influance on her, even though she just met him a couple of weeks ago. It made her slightly nervous and afraid. What was going on with her? Why did she feel like this around him?
Lucas seemed to notice that her mind was elsewhere and pulled back to look at her. "Is everything alright?" This snapped Daniella out of her thoughts and back to the present. "Yes, I'm just a little tired. Do you mind sitting down for a while?"
He agreed the minute she finished her sentence and they made their way away from the dancefloor and the couples that were still dancing. Daniella noticed Regina dancing with Robin, but pushed her curiousity away and turned her attention back to her date.
