3. My Shattered Dream

When a guy loves, he loves really hard.

She was like a dream come true.
The more I looked at her, the more my feelings grew.

Her smile, her eyes, the way she spoke.
She didn't seem real, as if someone was playing a joke.

I could look at her, listen to her all day long.
She made me feel that there is nothing that could go wrong.

She was with me one second but the next thing she was gone.
I didn't even get a chance to hold her for long.

It pains me, tears are running dry.
As they say guys aren't suppose to cry.

She was everything I had always wanted.
The way she accepted her flaws and beautifully flaunted.

I close my eyes, I remain quiet.
I see her stunning sight, that never leaves my mind.

Maybe she deserves better than anything I could ever provide.
But I can't help it as with her, my heart was tied.

Its always there, that pang of pain.
Its her thoughts, that drive me insane.

Her addictive fragrance, the feel of her soft strands.
Then there is the delicate touch of her hands.

When I am in deep sleep she comes back to me
tells me this isn't how things are suppose to be.

I wake up and look around, its all a dream.
She isn't here, I lose my esteem.
