Me: *playing Skyward Sword*
Me: *enters the Silent Realm in Faron Woods*
Fi: Master, you must proceed with caution. Once you exit the circle, the guardians will chase after you. If you are hit by the guardians' attacks you will have to start all over.
Me: Oh. Seems simple enough. Let's do it!
Me: *takes a single step out of the circle*
Guardians: *wake up and start chasing me*
Me: *has 57 heart attacks and quickly runs to collect the things*
Me: *gains 90 seconds to collect the next one*
Me: ....Dear Hylia help me. *runs around the map collecting the things and having 60 heart attacks each time they wake up, screaming at the top of my lungs in the middle of the night*
Me: *finishes the trial and is scared shitless*
Mom: Honey, are you ok-
Me: NEVER. AGAIN. I REFUSE TO DO THIS AGAIN! *stomps off to drown my sorrow and fear in ice cream*
1 hour later
Me: *still terrified will trying to complete a oneshot at 3 in the morning*
Brain: ...well they don't call it the trial of courage for nothing-
Me: SHUT THE FUCK UP-
So yeah. That's how I spent my evening yesterday.
