I knocked on Elliot's door. He opened the door, surprised.

"Hey Elliot."

"Jasper?" He said as he rubbed his eyes. Seems like I woke him up.

I gently pushed him away and walked inside his apartment.

"What's the matter? You talked to Olivia?"

I laid down on Elliot's couch. "Don't worry. I talked to her."

I took off my coat and lay it on the couch.
"What did she say?"

"I found out that Rose was the one who told Olivia to break up with me."

Eli sat next to me. "Really? That bitch."

"I'm going to have a talk with her."

I closed my eyes. I'm so tired.

"So you and Olivia are okay?" I adjusted myself.

"Yeah. We're good."

We both stayed quiet for a few minutes.

"Then.. Why are you here?"

I opened my eyes and sat up. "I can't spend time with my little brother?"

Eli smiled. "So you're going to sleep here? Why you can't sleep at your house or Olivia's?"

I blinked twice.

I stared at the table. There was a small black box.

"What's that?" I smirked.

Eli followed where I was looking at and grabbed it. "It's nothing."

He got up and put in the dresser.

"It's that a ring?"

"No!"

I laughed. "Who's the lucky girl?"

Eli stopped for a second. He sat down again.

"I bought this last week. And I-I'm afraid she's going to say no."  He said covering his eyes.

I patted on his back. "I guess we are both worrying about the same thing too."

He uncovered his eyes, staring at me as if he saw a ghost. "You're going to propose to Olivia?"

I slowly nodded.

"Fuck. I feel bad for her." He joked.

I pushed him.

"I'm joking."

We both gazed at the clock. Thinking.

"You don't have to worry about that Elliot. I'm sure she's going to say yes."

He let out a huge sigh. "It's Emma."
