Caine's P.O.V.

My beautiful girl... Oh how stunning she is in that dress. And her heels make her legs look fantastic. Maybe i'll get to feel them tonight 'wink wink' my wolf howling in agreement with me.

" she looks beautiful tonight you know, we'll have a hard time keeping everyone off of her tonight" my wolf whispers to me.

I think she'll like the night that i have planned for us. Im taking her out tonight to the cliff over at the lake opposite end from the lake house its about a 45 minutes drive and i decorated it while she was getting ready. I layed candles all over the grass in little jars all diffrently colored and i hung white lights from tree to tree and wrapped the wooden gazebo in white curtains and soft purple lights. And right before we get there I'm going to have coal set out our dinner for us so its still hot to eat. Then after dinner I'm taking her to my favorite field where ifs nothing but green grass and the open sky where i'll have a little bit of wine and other refreshments for us. Then after that I'm taking her out to our private night club strictly for our pack and the four closest neighboring packs which we all have agreements with.

Gently tugging on her hand i lead her out the door and into my big black dodge truck with tires almost as big as her. She saw it and immediately melted. I knew she liked trucks i saw how her eyes popped out of her head when i brought her into the garage at the lake house.

She took the extra time to stare at the larger things like my beaut of a truck and the yellow jeep. My girl was into cars she's just to amazing and I'm so lucky to have her.

Helping her up and into the truck i ran around the other side and hopped into my side starting it as the engine roared to life...literally. I glanced over at her only to see a sly smile cross her lips as she leaned back into the seats and felt the rumble of the engine. She took a deep breath in and her smile got wider.

With her eyes closed she reached over and snuck her fingers into my hand and slowly spread them out into my fingers.

" it smells just like you in here babe" she said opening her eyes and looking at me with a little smirk still playing at her pretty face.

" well yeah doll it should this is my personal truck and its mine and only mine," i said as i gave her hand a little squeeze and let go so i could shift the truck into reverse as i pulled out of the drive way.

Janes P.O.V,

Pulling out of the driveway i slid off my shoes and sunk down into my seat as i got comfortable tucking one leg under the other and leaning my head to look out the window.

Making our way down the bumpy gravel filled driveway surrounded in nothing but trees. The drive way was a little under a mile so it was more like a dirt road rather then a drive way. I reached for the center console and turned on the country station and returned to my comfy spot this time leaning my head against the cool window as we started our journey which i knew would be on the longer side.

Watching the trees pass by rather quickly calmed me and my wolf. But one thing for sure was this silence was not calm. Listening to the sound of the truck go over bumps and listening to the seat belts rattle and shake got on my nerves. I leaned forward and reached for the radio dial hoping to find a country station out here.

Soon the cab of the truck was flooded with Luke Bryan's drink a beer and i couldn't help but hum along with it. And soon i heard Caine's deep voice join in with the song.

"Im gonna sit right here on the edge of this peer and watch the sunset disappear and drink a beer" as Caine's deep voice drew out the last word of the song i couldn't help but smile at him. My mate. My Caine.

Me and Caine really hadn't talked much on the ride up it was nice just sitting in the truck with him listening to music we both enjoyed as we tapped our fingers to the beat as i hummed and Caine mumbled out the words.

About 45 minutes into the car ride Caine tossed a black cloth at me.

"Here you go love put this on and no peeking" unwillingly i did as i was told and covered my eyes with the cloth and sat anxiously waiting to pull up to where ever it was that we were.

The truck came to a stop and i heard Caine get out and close his door and i waited to hear my door open.

'Click....squeak' and. I felt a cool breeze on my right side. As the door swung open and the sparks spread up my side and settled next to my ribs as Caine picked me up out of the seat and set me down. My feet coming in contact with soft damp grass since Caine didn't let me put my shoes on.

Caine's hand snuck out and entwined with mine and tugged me in the direction of our food. (How'd i know? I can smell it!! And boy does it smell yummy)

Walking walking walking. Stop..

" alright baby now it bets kinda funny right here pick up your feet and watch your right side theres some trees and big rocks over there don't run into them"

I snorted " really babe you think i would wa-" BAM!

I walked into a tree.

"Hey! Uh Caine.. Yeah hi there hows it goin'? Yeah don't step right there.. There might be a tree right there.. Just thought i would let you know since yanno YOU CAN SEE WHERE YOUR GOING but I'm blindfolded so you probably cant hear me."

Sarcasm my life depends on it.

" ok jane now lets try this again. Nice and slow now... God I'm an idiot... Caine said there were trees on the right" i swing my hand out to the right...

" oh god damn it!! I found another fuckin' tree Caine! Don't worry if i keep walking like this babe your date won't be In that chair you'll have to scrape me off the damn trees" i huffed in annoyment.

I stopped walking and i felt Caine stop right after me. And then i felt his hand shaking. And then i heard his gurgled laugh as he tried to hide it from me. Hes muffled snorts.

" Caine... Keep on laughing" my voice coming out angrier then intended.
But Caine's laugh came to end after a couple cover up coughs and after clearing his throat and grunting it was over.

And then i realized where he was standing. That asshole mate of mine.. whom i love oh so dearly was actually walking behind me probably for most of the time as he watched me struggle walk down this tree ridden path and watched as i stubbed my toe off almost every rock i passed and walked into two trees.

Livid was an understatement. I spent many hours getting ready for tonight only to be brought into the woods to get battered and bloody before my night even begins.

Ohh i was so angry! I felt myself shaking but i knew i had to calm myself down because there was no way i was going to tear this dress to shreds if i changed into my beautiful wolf. I ripped off the blind fold.
