"THEY SAY THERE IS NO LIGHT WITHOUT DARK, NO GOOD WITHOUT EVIL, NO MALE WITHOUT FEMALE, NO RIGHT WITHOUT WRONG. THAT NOTHING CAN EXIST IF IT'S DIRECT OPPOSITE DOES NOT EXIST." {Laurel K. Hamitton}

The cell was a drab grey, the psychology behind it is obvious. White was too classic, making you feel like you were trapped in a mental institution. Black brought out sadness, darkness, anger. It would rile people up, cause everything that shouldn't happen during an interrogation. Distantly, I remembered when I came to the cave the first time. I wasn't put in a cell, I was put in the medbay. Because I wasn't a villain to them. I was a teenager. Kidnapped, scared, and kept away for her entire life. How the times had changed.

I was lounging in one of the just as boring chairs in my cell, head leaning against the wall. I made sure my features were impassive, staring at the glass in front of me. It wasn't two-way, just normal glass. Normal as in thick and power proof. Unbreakable inside and out. Not that I could do anything with an inhibitor collar already around my neck.

Passing the time, I hummed Hey Jude to myself. Slowly, softly, almost like a lullaby a mother would sing to her daughter. But I didn't have a blood-mother, I never would. I had Ivy, and Harley, aunts, sisters, mothers to me.

Four of the members of the Justice League entered through the silver door at the front of the room. Batman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, and Green Arrow. The four I mainly dealt with the last time I was at the cave.

"Have you taken my stuff out of my room?" I stopped my singing to ask the question that had been in my mind since we landed in the cave.

I could see things going either way. They thought I'd be gone forever, so they got rid of my things and the constant reminder of their failure. But, my room was sentimental to the team. Even if they hated me for what I did, we became a family in a short time.

"Your things haven't been touched," Batman took a step towards me. I crossed my legs to sit more comfortably.

"But you looked through my stuff the night I left, didn't you? To see if I left any hints behind... I left everything behind, but no hints of where I was going. All I brought was my clothes from the trip. To be honest, the only way I could leave no hints of where I was going was because I didn't know where I was going."

Green Arrow stepped forward as well, "You left us for the villains. Why?"

"You know why," I smiled gently, "To protect the team of course. Klarion was threatening to destroy them all. They were my friends, my family at the time. I couldn't let him kill all of them because I wasn't willing to go with him."
