Sequel to Shadows (Read that before this to understand).

4 years. 4 years a villain. Within those 4 years I lost emotion, I was a killer, and I didn't care. I flipped a switc...
I don't own anything but original characters I may add.

"Oh how your kingdom will fall... When you find that your discarded pawn was the queen all along" {Erin Van Vuren}
"Is everyone ready?" Lex asked through the com, handling technical support along with Alfred from Lex Corp.
The original team- travelling via the bio-ship- share a nervous, but overall ready look. Nightwing answered for everyone, "We're ready."
"Ready," Batman reported for the league, who was travelling through their own methods to London.
"I'm ready to die again!" Jason stated, all too cheerfully for the Outcasts who were given the Batjet, "Oh there's a radio! Hey Roy, see if this thing has bluetooth!"
"Don't touch the radio Jason. I don't need to 'Songs to Kill to' playlist stuck on repeat again."
"I'd love to hear that playlist, Mistah Todd," Harley giggled, "Lucy has a choir concert on the third and I'd like to make it there. So, let's save the world and be heroes!"
"Let's go kick some demon ass," I added with a smirk. The final fight, what I'd known was coming for years- at least on a subconscious level. Destiny was murky water for me to tread in, but something deep within me told me that leading the heroes into battle against my father was destiny.
Nightwing pulled up CCTV footage of London's streets. Everything was normal, almost boring. Londoners were going about their daily lives without the knowledge that their precious city was about to be attacked.
"You're sure it's today?" Artemis observed the footage in distaste.
"Yeah, Klarion is more predictable than he likes to think-"
The sudden screaming of the Londoners cut me off. Returning my attention to the screen, I almost grinned when I realized how right I was.
It seemed as though a castle- fortress, was a better descriptor- was rising from the ground at the heart of the famed city. It was old and Victorian, reminiscent of ancient churches they would show in moves to add a creepy ambience.
"We're going in."
We could see the league landing in front of the newly arrived fortress. Klarion popped up in front of them, cackling madly.
"I was wondering when you'd show up," Klarion grinned at the frightened civilians, "This is it, isn't it? I can feel every ounce of power from every frightened, pathetic little human. It's enough power to deal with you, no doubt. I hope you're ready. The odds aren't in your favor."
