People take it seriously it's crazy. You want your OTP(one true pairing) to be canon(be officially together). We understand but it's not that serious. (I'm not calling any people out, so don't hurt me😢)
But compared to most shippers(ex: shippers in the kpop community) yaoi fans and some others have a certain way of the shipping.

Logic- seme, I want him to top. Dashie- uke, I want him to bottom.
The top comes first when it comes to the ship name and the bottom... well gets the bottom part.
I'm not saying you should do this just a notice. I mean I don't really do it unless it's a ship I ship really hard.....
