The levels of yaoi are basically the fluffiest to smuttiest stuff to me.
The first is Shounen Ai: It basically means boys' love. It is the most romantic part of the yaoi world. It shows more of the growing relationship of two males, so cute😘, there is usually only kissing in it. Example would be the anime No.6( I know there's a manga series......)-

Regular yaoi: It's just the regular stuff it's still romantic in some ways but adds more sexual things going on or sexual stuff could just be the main thing.. Example would be Hana to Usagi (or Flower and Bunny).

"Hard" Yaoi: It's not an actual type of this genre but like, you can see a difference. It's a bit more mature than regular yaoi, probably has more kinks, maybe rape.... oh I'm sorry, I mean non-con😧. It's just gonna be more mature, it's hentai level I guess. An example would be Yatamomo.

Lastly would be Bara...... Yay(I say in a sarcastic voice.)... Bara is for the male gay audience(mostly) who isn't into all that cute bishounen mess. They have characters that are big.... And muscular....Um... I'm not into that... So I stay away, so I don't have any that I know but here is a picture for an example.

It was hard to find one that made me feel comfortable to put on here, I don't know if this is exactly one( please let me know if it is one). I'm not hating on it though I mean it's still yaoi..... I just like bishi's to be in my yaoi you know.
Also I'm not into shotacon(which is sorta a sub-genre of yaoi) or whatever it is with shota's....... I feel very uncomfortable with it as well, an example would be the Boku no pico.......yeah.......... Even though there are some cases with the fan fiction I read....... But that's fan fiction so yeah......
