Chapter 5•

Emilio's POV

I really want to get to know Aria, she seems like a really nice girl. She's only been here for a day and I think it would be nice if I spent some time with her.

I saw that Aria was smiling at Chance and Tessa as they were being all lovey-dovey. I asked Aria if she would come with me into the kitchen.

Aria: (walks into the kitchen) so what did you want me for?
Emilio: I was wondering if you wanted to go to see a movie and the beach later? So I could get to know you better.
Aria: (smiles) so like a date?
Emilio: well I want to get to know you more, get to know the real Aria Grace.
Aria: sure I'd love to
Emilio: great, meet me downstairs at 5pm
Aria: okay (smiles and walks out the kitchen)

I smiled and thought 'did I just ask her on a date?'.

Aria's POV

Once I walked out the kitchen, I smiled, did Emilio just ask me on a date? I went up to Erika and Tessa who were talking in the office and asked them for help upstairs in my room.

We then walked upstairs and they sat on my bed.

Erika: so what's up?
Aria: I think Emilio just asked me on a date?
Tessa: really? What did he say?
Aria: that he wants to take me to the movie and the beach so we can get to know each other
Erika: what do you think T? Do you think it's a date?
Tessa: maybe, but you should wear something super cute, just in case it is
Erika: you're right

Erika and Tessa stood up and looked through my closet. They picked out the most cutest outfit ever.

Aria: OMG, it's so cute
Tessa: of course it is, did he say what time he was taking you?
Aria: yeah, 5
Erika: (checks her phone) so that gives us 3 hours to get ready
Tessa: lets do it

We spent the next 3 hours doing my hair and makeup. We started dancing to my favourite song Lightning Strikes by R5 (the song above).

Once we were done, I looked in the mirror and was happy with how I looked.

I hugged Tessa and Erika and said thank you to them. Then I walked out my bedroom door and saw Emilio waiting at the bottom of the stairs in his Thrashers hoodie, ripped jeans and vans.

Emilio: you look amazing
Aria: (blushes)thank you, you don't look bad yourself
Emilio: (smiles)let's go

I took his arm and we went out the front to see an uber waiting for us.

Skip the movie and they are at the beach

We were walking down the beach talking.

Aria: I've had so much fun so far
Emilio: me too, so tell me a bit about yourself
Aria: like what?
Emilio:Anything
Aria: there's nothing really to tell. I was in care for 10 years
Emilio: do you remember your parents?
Aria: a bit, I remember my father was a writer and my mother was a waitress
Emilio: oh, any siblings?
Aria: yeah, I had one older brother called Ryder
Emilio: what happened to him? If you don't mind me asking
Aria: of course not. He and my parents were in a car crash picking him up from school. I was at my friends house while it was happening (tears roll down her cheek)
Emilio: (hugs her) I'm so sorry, I couldn't imagine my life with Ivan and Rebeca.
Aria: (hugs back) it's okay and they are lucky to have a brother like you

We smiled at each other and decided to sit down for a while. I opened up my phone and got a person to take a photo of us from behind. Once they had taken the photo, I thank them and post it on Instagram.
