Chapter 4

Jamie's POV
I looked at me dad for minute and inside my heart was shaking. My dad welcomed me and Gerry inside and sat down on the couch, prepared what will happen next. My dad sat on the recliner chair and stared at me then Gerry and the back at me. He took a deep breath and then spoke. " So how longs this going on between you two?" "Daddy! He hasn't-sorry we haven't made official yet. We just kissed" My dad looked at us again. Then spoke" Gerry if you truly love my daughter more than anything in the world, you have my blessing to date her when you ask her" he said and smiled at us. I smiled happily and hugged Gerry. He hugged back and smiled with joy. I looked up at Gerry and he looked at her. "I'll leave you two be then. Gerry if you wanna stay you can" my dad said to him. I looked at my dad then looked and then look at Gerry. " Thank you Mr. Yoast" Gerry said. "Please Gerry call me Bill or Dad now." This is why I love Gerry. He's sweet, kind and sensitive about things. He actually cares for me. Hopefully we can make it official. Just then, my sister Sheryl came down stairs and saw me and Gerry . " Hey Gerry" said Sheryl. "Hey Sheryl how are ya" said Gerry happily. " I'm great thanks for asking" said Sheryl. I looked at the time on my phone. It was 9:45. Wow it was late. "I'm probably going to ready for bed but I'm taking a shower first" I said to Gerry and my dad. " Gerry I trust you to sleep with Jamie tonight just no funny business" my dad joked. I saw Gerry blush dark red like a tomato. I giggled a bit when Gerry caught me giggling. "What are you laughing at Ms Yoast?" asked Gerry while smirking . " Nothing" I said shyly while backing away slowly. Gerry gave me a devilish smirk and started running towards me while I darted up the stairs into my room. I heard his footsteps coming and I quickly ran and hid in my closet. "Jamie where are youuu?" Gerry said devilishly. I smiled to myself. He'd never find me. I heard him coming toward the closet I quickly and quietly climbed to the top of my closet. I was going to jump in his back when he found me. Perfect! When he opened it, he looked left and right. Then I whispered" OhGerry, Look up." He slowly looked up then saw me I then fell, causing him to catch me in his arms instead of his back. Not what I expected but ok. Then he tickled me really hard on the sides. I fell on the ground causing to fall Gerry with me. " Say Gerry is the best person ever " he said while laughing. "G-Gerry is t-the b-best per-son e-ever" I managed to get out while laughing. " Your free to go" he said while getting me up. He pulled me up close to his chest. Then I looked up at him. " Just kiss me Ger." I whispered. He slammed his lips into mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist. We had our make-out session for a minute then we broke away, panting like crazy. Then we both got ready for bed. I climbed in bed and Gerry followed. I turned off my lamp and plugged in my phone. I turned around to see Gerry staring at me and smiling. Then as I was falling a sleep he wrapped his arms around my waist and whispered in my ear three words
