Scene 4: Daddy and Posters

"What's up my fellow queers and Daniel!" Matt yelled once walking into the GSA room.

Phil laughed and shook his head, spinning in the chair he had. Dan also laughed and Dodie smacked Matt behind the head. 

"Shut the fuck up Matt you're embarrassing poor Danny," Mia says, looking over at Dan.

"No it's fine. I actually don't know my own sexuality now," Dan blushes, rubbing his neck.

"But Emily?" Dodie asks, looking confused, but having an idea.

"I still love her! Believe me, she's the best thing that ever happened to me, I just think I might be bi or something," Dan smiles and the others nod.

All of the teens take a seat and begin to talk about the fundraiser. Dan and Phil explaining everything and how long they all have. It had been a week since the two set up everything, so they were filling it all in on their first meeting of the week. Soon enough, the principal walks in, smiling at them all.

"Good afternoon students," He says and they return it. "Do you have the forms?"

"Yes, sir. They came in yesterday. Would you like to see one?" Phil asks and the principal nods.

Phil shows him one and the man smiles, rubbing the stubble growing on his face. He went and looked through, picking out the things he wanted for his daughter before giving the teens the money, and telling them to finish up before school starts.

Phil gives everyone at least two of the forms, putting the rest in his bag. He checks his phone and sees a text from his friend Saphire. She's helps run the announcements and asks Phil to go and talk about the fundraiser and the upcoming meetings. She also said he can bring one person.

Phil looked around and saw only Dan standing there still, also on his phone. He's smiling at the screen, most likely at something Emily said.

"Hey." Phil speaks up, getting Dan's attention. "Wanna go on the announcements with me?" He asks and Dan nods, smiling at the blue eyed boy.

Phil explains what's going on and says they'll only he on for a minute or so. He knew that by bringing Dan with him, it would be better for the club. Dan is one of the most popular kids in school. Phil just hopes nobody gives him shit for it, because even though the school is very accepting, that doesn't mean there aren't any shitty people who still think negatively. 

"Hi Phil!" Saphire greets when they walk in the room. 

Phil smiles at her and hugs her, thanking the curly haired girl for letting him do this. She greets Dan also, saying they will go on when Peyton was done with this weeks events. The camera then switches to the two boys and Phil smiles.

"Hello students of Marigold High! My name's Phil Lester," Phil says, pointing the mic to Dan.

"And I'm Dan Howell."

"And we're part of the school's GSA. Ever wanted to show a little more than school pride? Well, we're having a fundraiser where you can get pride versions of school shirts!" Phil announces cheerfully.
