Phil walked through the halls of his home silently. He didn't know how else to live now.
It almost seemed as though every boy he came in touch with looked like Dan. Never in his life did he think he would let a boy control his emotions the way Dan does. Being alone has not been easy since what happened.
It was the way Dan treated him that drew him in. How kind and genuine he was, the way he was so passionate in everything he does. Sure, Dan had his moments where he was a goofball, but there isn't anyone like him.

Phil had just gotten into his mum's car after his band performance. He was tired and ready to go home when he got a text.
"Hey, wyd?" It read. Phil's stomach erupted in butterflies as he texted back "nothing much, wbu?"
"same. wanna go to coffay? i've been dying for a soda from there"
Phil smiled as he texted a yes, his mum looking over.
"Are you gonna go out?" She asks, her eyes going back to the road.
"Yeah, Dan wants to go to A-Okay Coffay. Is that cool?" Phil asks, his mum nodding and him smiling wide.
Dan picked up Phil and they went to the coffee shop. The best time to go was at night when it was kinda packed, cause that meant the two were able to rant in the car while waiting to get their order taken.
"What about him? He's kinda cute," Dan says, pointing at the Coffay employee going to the cars and taking orders.
"Ooh, he is. God, why does everyone here have to be so hot? It's like that's a requirement for the job. " Phil groans, throwing his head back into the headrest.
"It honestly might be," Dan laughs as he rolls down his window, giving the employee their orders and paying for the drinks.
"You didn't have to pay for mine," Phil says when the window is back up.
"It's no problem. See it as a nice treat for preforming so amazingly tonight," Dan smiles, causing Phil to blush.

Phil sighed as he heard to knock at the door, going over and opening it. He saw Mia, Dodie, and Matt all standing in front with huge coats on.
"Happy New Year!" The all said, which resulted in a smile from Phil.
"Chill, we still have like," Phil pauses looking at his wrist like there's a watch there, "Five hours until midnight."
"So? There's no harm in starting early. And it's three hours, dummy," Mia says, all three piling inside the home.
"Why aren't you dressed?" Dodie asks, taking in Phil's pajamas.
"Dressed for what?" Phil asks, dumbfounded.
They all looked at him disappointingly before Mia spoke up. "Jason's party? The one he invited us to before we left for holiday?"
"Fuck, I completely forgot. I was so caught up with-" Phil went to explain.
"With Dan, we know. Phil, why don't you take tonight to be a little happy. You can maybe find someone new, or even just have a good time. Whatever you want, just please, get out of those ugly ass Spongebob pants." Matt says, looking up and down at Phil.
"What's wrong with my pj's?" Phil pouts, looking down.
"Nothing, come one, let's go get you dressed!" Dodie says, all four of them running up the stairs.
