Dan walked around school, sulking. He didn't know what was making him so sad, but as he walked, he just hung low. It could have something to do with his break up with Emily, or his grade in AP English going down because he didn't do his last two journals. Either way, there was something deep in him that was hurting.
When Dan got to his locker, he put in his combination. "11-8-17," He thought.
When the door opened, a piece of paper fell out. Dan bent down and grabbed it, looking at the lined paper.
As soon as Dan went to open it, the minute bell rang. He groaned and grabbed his book for English, shutting the locker and speed walking to his class, note in hand.
As soon as he got to the class, the bell rang. He sighed and went to his seat, setting his bag down and getting his laptop from the charging rack in the back of the classroom. As soon as Dan logged on with his student e-mail, he got the note from his pocket and opened it, smiling at the familiar handwriting.
"Dear Danny,
I noticed you've been a little sad lately. I'm sorry about that :( I'm always here for you, you better know this!!! You're an amazing person whO DESERVES ALL THE HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD OKAY?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! How about you come over to my house tonight, we watch some movies and eat a bunch? Sound like a plan?? Don't forget about today's meeting either!
Sincerely,
Me ;) (I hope you get the reference)"
Dan chuckled a little and smiled, doing his work in class.
There was no way he didn't get the reference.

Dan walked to the GSA meeting room, smiling when seeing Phil there. He set his bag down and bolted for the spinning chair before Phil could sit down. Phil wasn't paying attention and sat down, also sitting on Dan's lap.
He jumped, tilting the chair back, making both of them fall backwards. Dan laughing and Phil blushing profusely. Phil covered his face, laughing.
"I'm sorry!" Phil said as he tried to get up.
"It's fine, here." Dan laughed, pushing Phil up so he could stand.
The two stood awkwardly, giggling and blushing.
"Woah, am I interrupting something here?" Dodie asks, walking in.
"No! Y-you're fine," Phil said, chuckling nervously.
Phil sat in his seat until Sargent came in. She turned on the Smart Board and told the teens she had some things to do on campus and that is they needed anything, they should just text her. She doesn't always stay in for these meetings, which was okay. She trusted Phil and knew he wouldn't do anything.
"Okay, so these sales have been really good lately. How many have you all sold?" Phil asks, looking around at the others who were sat.
"I got about twelve," Dodie says, earning a "same" from Mia.
"I got like seven," Matt says and Phil nods.
"I got like thirty," Dan says, leaving Phil's mouth open.
"No fucking way!" He says happily.
Dan blushed and chuckled. Phil thought that Dan would get a lot of orders because of how popular he is, but he never thought it would be this many. The group continued talking about their orders and other things. Dan laughed multiple times.

"Ready to go?" Phil asks after staying back to talk with Sargent about what happened during the meeting.
"Yeah. I'm so hungry," Dan says, laughing.
"Wanna pick something up on the way?" Phil asks, knowing there's about 3 restaurants near the school.
"Sure!"
The two walked to the pizza shop across from the school. It was called Dino's Pizza and it was Phil's favorite. They ordered their pizza and walked to Dan's house, laughing the whole way.
It was quite cold out, since it was getting closer to the Christmas season. Phil shivered, rubbing his hands over his arms to warm them up.
"Do you want my jacket?" Dan asks, already starting to shrug off his jacket.
"A-are you sure? I don't want you to be cold," Phil said, still shivering.
"I'll live. Besides, I have the pizza to keep me warm," Dan smiles, handing Phil the jacket, Phil smiling brightly.
They walked down the street together. They were pretty close together as they made their way to Phil's house.
As soon as they walked up the drive way, Phil unlocked his door. They greeted Phil's mum, walking went into the living room.
"What do you wanna do?" Phil asks when they put their bags down and opened the box, grabbing a slice each.
"I believe the note said there would be movies?" Dan asks, smirking slightly.
Phil blushed before nodding. He grabbed the T.V. remote and turned it on, along with his Play Station. He went to Netflix, asking Dan what he wanted to watch.
"Well Christmas is coming up soon. We should watch a Christmas movie!" Dan says happily, making Phil smile.
"Yeah of course! Which one?" Phil questions, scrolling through the holiday movies.
"Hmmm, that one!" Dan says, stopping Phil.
"Dear Santa?" Phil chuckles.
"Yeah, it's a good movie."
Phil puts the movie on and gets up quickly to get them a blanket. He thought only one should be good, also since it was all they had. He walked back in and sat down, Dan smiling as the movie just started.
Phil took a bite of his pizza and looked over at Dan, who was frowning a bit.
"What's wrong?" Phil asks, turning a bit, pausing the movie.
Dan was a bit quiet before he finally spoke up. "Em and I used to watch this together during Christmas."
Phil frowned, moving closer to his friend, wrapping an arm around him.
"It's going to be okay, Dan. One day, you'll be able to move on and be happy yourself," Phil said, giving Dan a small grin.
"You think so?" Dan questions, eyes hopeful.
"I know so," Phil says.
"I hope I can make you happy," Phil thinks, going to move back to where he was originally sitting.
"No," Dan says, grabbing Phil's hand. "I mean, um, can you sit next to me? Like closer? Or can I sit closer?"
"Sure," Phil blushes, giggling a bit.
Dan scoots closer to Phil, their hips pressed together.
"Is this okay?" Dan asks timidly.
"Yeah. Um, do you want to cuddle?" Phil asks, noticing Dan's slight nervousness.
Dan smiled and nodded, laying his head on Phil, holding him close. Phil pulled the covers over them and resumed the movie. They two boys lied with each other, the brunette yawning and snuggling closer. Phil blushed, noticing Dan's eyes fluttering closed.
As soon as Phil was sure Dan was asleep, be let out a deep breath.
"I wish you knew how much you mean to me, Daniel." Phil said, moving some of the sleeping boy's hair out of his face.
