When we drive it feels like forever I just stare out of the window thinking about how I would approach him without freaking out then I remember when me and Andy met I held my breath and kept my mouth shut and just let Taylor do the talking I mean she's good at it I mean look at her life she might out had a kid at 19 but it's not like she goes out every night and parties we used to all the time but then she became pregnant with Nathan and she calmed down and her and Andy are really good friends but she is so lucky she has the confidence to talk to Andy when we met and she wasn't scared at all but all my friends have confidence they all have boyfriends and some have husbands but I hope I can really get Kellin to like me but I know Taylor can do it she got my friend Ryker together with Ollie Sykes and they're married and planning to have a baby but here I am single pringle with the confidence of a rock and I don't even know if I can even talk to Kellin but I will be quiet for as much as I can and just let Taylor and Andy talk then we pull into a neighboor hood and the anticipation is killing me then we finally pull into a driveway and Taylor honks the horn and Kellin walks out wearing http://www.polyvore.com/guy_outfit/set?id=116024194 and he's holding Copeland on his hip he puts up his index finger telling us to wait one minute he kisses Copeland and tickles her to where she is smiling and I can see her lauging then I see Katelynn come out of the house she is wearing a black tank top and pj shorts with her black hair in a messy bun she looks like she just woke up he hands Copeland to Katelynn and she walks inside they never exchanged goodbyes then he come to the car and comes to the car door he opens it "Hey, dude where ya want me to put Nathans carseat?" Andy asked while he lit a ciggerate Kellin sighed "Well since we share Copeland she had to know where I lived and my baby sitter was busy and so I called Katelynn but luckily she was only there for two minutes before you honked the horn you're a lifesaver" he said and Andy chuckled "So what's the big day?" Kellin asked "Mackenzie is now 21" Taylor said "Awesome" he said we drive for what feels like forever and we pull into the mall Andy and Taylor walk in front of us holding hands and me and Kellin are behind them just standing side by side as we walk into the mall we hear and see little kids playing on the merry go round and laughing and cackling and having a good time and I think about my ex sadly his memories are ruining my birthday he ruined my relationship with everyone I didn't always used to live in California I lived in South Carolina that's where I lived since I was born but Taylor wanted to move out of state to be closer to Andy since she was pregnant and her mom moved and Taylor lived with her and I stayed here for a year so when I turned 19 my ex made me move down here so I wouldn't know anyone up here but Taylor because he liked Taylor they used to date and they broke up the same reason we did and I knew that and I was stupid to think he would ever change but he told me I couldn't talk to my grandma he thought she was telling me to break up with him and that I should leave him and he didn't like that thought in his hand but it's just been hard just talking to her after all this and just talking to her like it never happend I couldn't do that she worries about me all the time and she doesn't know about my ex getting into jail or anything but she knows it's my birthday and I bet she's wishing she could talk to me we walk around the mall in silence "so Mackenzie tell me a little bit about yourself and your boyfriend" he told me "Well I am originally from South Carolina, I was raised by my Grandmother, I used to be really bad when I was a teenager, and I don't have a boyfriend" I told him when I said I didn't have a boyfriend I swear I saw him grin we walked around the mall some more and we left we went to the car and I light a ciggerate and took a drag from it calming my nerves from being with Kellin Quinn "I am sorry if I am annoying you with my smoke" I said to Kellin "Oh no it's ok but a pretty girl like you shouldn't ruin yourself with those things" he told me I know I shouldn't but now I am free from everything in my life I wasn't allowed to do I just wanted to start for a couple of years and then maybe quit then I stopped thinking for a second then started again did he just say I was pretty? he couldn't could he? I can't believe it he called me pretty maybe I could be with him but maybe not I finish my ciggerate and we pull into a resturant and we get out and Kellin walks beside me and then we get to the door and he opens the door for us we go in and as I am about to sit down he pulls a chair out for me and then I sit down and he sits beside me and I smile he is being a gentlemen right now then the waitress comes up she looks at Andy and Kellin and smiles she had red hair in a ponytail and I could see a tattoo slipping out from her long sleeved work shirt she had a nose stud and she couldn't stop smiling "Oh my gosh I can't believe you guys are here and you brought Taylor and who is this Kellin?" she asks "She is my friend but it's nice to meet a fan" he said I smiled he was so nice but I was kinda upset that he said we were just friends but we are and that's probably all we will ever be then we ordered our drinks and food and we ate and left and I looked at the time it was 5:30 "Okay girl we are going back to our house and we are gonna party but first we gotta go to the ABC store to get some drinks" she said with a smile I saw she opened her monster from the gas station and noticed Andy had already polished his off but I was gonna save mine for tonight and maybe mix it with something then we turned into the ABC store but my grandma called it the Abraham Bible College and that it was filled with a bunch of "books" that taught her lessons and things little did I know the "books" were alchohol and the lessons she learned was to ease back and relax and forget all the bad things in the world with just a sip from the bottle my grandma knew how to word things just right to make me understand with subliminal messages she only understood but the bad thing was she could easily lie to your face which I hated whenever I grew up and I would think she was mad at me and she would lie saying she wasn't and I felt stupid pretending nothing happened when she is obviously lying it took me almost two years to figure out this little scheme when we put the car in park Andy and Taylor got out and went inside and I was sitting alone in the car with Kellin
