A few weeks went by and dad got mom a penthouse . To be completely honest he doesn't seem as bad as I thought he would be like ,but the devil wears Prada so I'll still be on my toes around him. She denied at first but eventually gave in. Actually today he wants me and mal to come spend the day with him . He wants to have a private day with Lj alone tomorrow. Me and mal thinks it would be good for him . Me and Lj moved in with mal because mal said he want to get to know us better so we was all down. "Hey man you ready for today ?" Mal asked me. yeah man I'm ready . We drove to dad's house and he met us at the door . "This is one big ass house man ." I told Jamal  " There's my two boys!" He says forcing us both into one big hug . "Uhh... hey dad?" I say nervously I mean it is my first time calling him that so it's sorta weird . " So let's get down to business shall we." Wait dad what business you said we was going to hang mal said . I just want to see what talent your brother here has then we will I promise son sit tight he tells Jamal like he is a child . "Before we do that Lucious I have a few questions." I said ok shoot he said . "Why'd you leave her in there like that ?" I asked. What you thought I was going to start off slow hell naw I want answers . He paces a bit then tells us to take a set .

Damn I didn't see this coming the boy is a natural Lyon alright . No bullshit straight to it I see and I like . "Take a seat boys." I loved your momma more than I loved myself seeing her get locked up almost killed me . I got signed a few days after she went down . The guy told me I needed to get my head on straight so that I can make better music . With that I thought I had to let her go because I thought about her 24/7 and not my music . I figured if I let her go I would just move on I told them.  "It hurt me more than anything to send those papers to your momma and I do regret it . It costed me 16 years missed out of you and your brothers life and it costed me the love of my life  I honestly told them . So any more questions?  I asked Dj . After staring at me like he was trying to see if I was being truthful or not he finnally replied "Nope who ready to go make music ." I can tell there was something else bugging him thoe . "Alright you ready to see Empire then?" I asked them .

"Yes, we are ready to see My Empire!" I shot walking straight into Lucious's house . "Hey cookie wyd here ? I thought I had mal and Dj today and what you mean your Empire that's mines " He said to me . "Really fat ass half that company is mines and I'll pop your  ass if I have to in order to get it plus this ain't no shared custody nigga I see my boys whenever I want to."

That's what she told him afterwards.

"Look cookie I can give you money every month and give you Jamal and the boys to manage ." He told me . I thought about it for awhile then agreed . I guess that's fine for now until my plan really comes into play. We all headed to Empire and when I got there it's everything I dreamed it would be and more. "Becky show cookie to her office and show her around." Lucious told a chubby black girl . "So your the Cookie Lyon?" She asked me . "Yes the one and only honey  ." I replied smiling . We talked all day about her job and what all she does and about my job and what I would be doing . I walk off to studio C because that's where my babies and the devil is at . "Where's Lj? " I asked looking around

Dj

."He went to get our stuff from philly." I rushed and said covering for him like always .My parents turned to look at me . "Where is he Dwight?" My mother asked me he said he wanted to grab a few stuff from aunt carols house that's all I know . I lied to my parents for the first time in my life so that they wouldn't find out that Lj is selling for Frank gathers .

Alright then let's get this music thing started shall we ." Dad said still staring at me smirking a bit .

Jamal

I stepped up to the Mic this is my first time singing in from of my mom so I'm a bit nervous . "You got this baby show momma what you got." She said

"I opended my eyes after the music ended ." Omg baby that was amazing we gone work on it thoe Add a few pointers and make it a hit." Mom said.  "That is if he follows my rules." Dad said which caused him and mom to get into it again . To make matters worst Anika walks in . "Oh one big happy mess. Would say family but that's out the question." Anika walked in saying . " You know boo boo kitty you pushing it and before I break my $500 nails off on your face I'll leave you and your daddy to play house. My momma is not to be messed with u noticed over the pass few days Anika better watch out . "So DJ you hopping in the booth next?" Dad asked him. "Naw maybe next time ." He said then walked out. "Somethings up with those two and I'm going to find out." Mom and dad both said at the same time. They turned and looked at each other mom rolled her eyes and walked out . "What a happy family day right ?" I sarcastically asked dad
