We sat in the waiting room while we waited on the news. Lucious looks at me and says "So can we talk about the other day ?" There's nothing to talk about Lucious. I told him quickly

He got up and walked over to me
Why are you acting that way? He asked. Go ask Anika why. I told him.

The doctor came and explained his condition to us. " Lucious Jr. Has

These highs and lows are called episodes which is what Luciuos had tonight." On top of that, he hasn't been taking his meds." So what made him tick? "Jamal asked. "I don't know I made it back home late last night and found him passed out on the doorstep then he woke up the next morning I told him what happened and he freaked," I said truthfully.  "You all can go see him now." The doctor said.

How he and Cookie looked at each other 

Hey baby how you doing? I asked him ." Can Jamal and Dwight step out right quick? He asks in a serious voice. "Hey boys step out right quick I told them. They headed to the cafe downstairs. "Wassup baby? I asked my eldest twin. "Momma I fucked up ." He says with tears in his eyes trying not to cry in front of Lucious. What do you mean baby? What did you do?  I say now in a more serious tone as Lucious closes the door making sure no one can hear us. " Momma I sell drugs. "No shit." Me and Lucious say at the same time. "Wait y'all knew? Imma kill Dwight old snitching ass." Lj said.  "Actually your brother lied to us multiple times for you but it wasn't hard to tell. Look at your self son. He looked around and took a deep breath.  What else is there? I asked him " I almost got popped by the cops  so I dropped the bag." Damit Lj that's something you never do ." Lucious said to him getting concerned ." No shit I know that it just slipped and I didn't have time to grab it. What did your plug say? he had me jumped then he said I have two days to get him his shit, but then he said he would forgive my debts if I find out who snitched on him and end them, and if I don't Teddy gone end me. After he told me that name I panicked.  Teddy as in Teddy M? I asked him. "Yes, how you know him?" He asked me. "That's because me and your mother used to sell for Frank also," Lucious said. LJ's eyes went wide "what ? ". "Well Did you find the snitch Lucious asked Lj?" "Yeah," he said. My heart stopped for a minute. He looks at me and doesn't say anything else. "Ma how could you ? ". I lost it after that. How could I ? How could I? It was either I Snitch on Lucious or Frank or sit my ass there and miss all y'all's life. Tears streamed down my face as I explained.  I could have snitched on Lucious but I at least wanted y'all to have a dad and I couldn't bring myself to do it. "Ma I'm sorry don't cry," he says.Lj baby I did it for you and your brothers that's why. I kissed him on the head and walked out after that telling Lucious to fix it. As I walked out I ran into Jamal and Dwight. "I'll catch up with y'all later I hugged both of them . " Mom is that a hickey  Dwight asked me. "Hell ,no boy stay away from my neck ". I shouted at him exiting the hospital.

"So you telling me that's how she got out early?" I asked Lj. "Yeah, I guess but we have to think of something because they have more people than me looking for Frank's snitch. " The only way we can call it off is if Frank calls it off. " Lj says. "Well, I'll make him do it, don't worry about it I got this, "I told my eldest twin for the first time he agreed with me. "The only reason why I won't fight you on this is that it involves my mom's safety." he says before a nurse comes in saying   "Visiting time is over sir. They will be letting him go tomorrow.  After dropping Jamal and Dwight off to their homes I made my way to mine. When I walked threw the door it was silent which meant that Anika was asleep. I haven't been able to put up with her clingy ass lately. I'm only with her so that her dad can sign a keyman policy for me. I was diagnosed with ALS a couple of months ago. They gave me four years tops. I want to make Empire a publicly traded company. In order to do that I have to get a clean bill of health signed. I make my way to my living room and to the bar. I poured a drink and sat, as the memories of us the other day swirled in my mind. Her skin on my skin her lips on my lips our bodies moving together like never before. Let me tell you time only made her even more beautiful. I take my drink to the head and pick up my guitar.

I played and sang as the clips of us together the other day in the studio played on rerun back to back in my head.

The way I held her so close and so tight. I know she felt what I did. We didn't fuck on the soundboard that night in the studio we made love. The way her chocolate long legs wrapped around my torso. The way she dug her fingers into my back begging me to give her more.  I sat my guitar down and headed over to my bar making another shot of bourbon. I can't keep thinking about that my pants are starting to tent. I took it to the head and then called up my friend at the jail Frank is in to set up a meeting. No one is gonna hurt my cookie or my boys.
