She told me she would deliver, but I did not expect something of this calibre. My dress was fitted for a princess, and my mother chuckled at my commentary. This was only my normal ball gown for the performance. I had not yet seen the dress for my coronation, but I hear that it is a true sight to behold.

I was impatient for many things. To see all the performances, to show off my dress, to apologize to Sarina. I was excited, because this was the night that weeks and weeks of preparation had gone into. I would see the gymnastics' crazy performance, I would see the duet with Caleb and Anna, and I would see famous comedians and celebrities performing. This wasn't the first performance I had been to, but it was the first one where I looked forward to every single person, knowing the kind of hard work they went through.

I was a bit disappointed that the twins could not perform, but in all honestly it was for the best. If they made even a single mistake whilst on the stage, they would never be able to get over it.

"Beautiful! Beautiful!" my handmaiden cheered, gently pulling at the outer layer of the dress to sit nicely. It was a beautiful difference of blue hues, royal blue flowers patterned all over the dress. It was an off-shoulder dress, but not the kind to reveal any cleavage. The many layers of the dress was light, allowing me to move around freely. My hair was done up majestically to make way for my forehead tiara which wrapped around the circumference of my head. It resembled a leaf pattern made out of pure crystals, comparing to what you might expect and elf to wear.

The actual forehead diamond which hung from the tiara was cut to perfection and on my left hand was the ring from Princess Alice's household. When everything was done to the complete satisfaction, which took a half a day itself, we all headed out in the limousines. The cars were surrounded by other security numbers, everyone moving together on the streets like a black cloud swaying. Alejandro and the other Royal Family members had headed out slightly earlier to be greeted by the media first. The twins were dressed to the nines, their formal outfits protruding their elegance.

Arriving at the performance was a hurricane in itself since we all had a wing of time offered only to questions from the public. After what happened the previous week, we all knew exactly what they would ask. Or rather, the twins and I had never before spoken to the general media before, so it would be a first. We couldn't expect anything.

Flashes of the paparazzi surrounded the car as my parents headed down the velvet carpet, moving to different sides to speak to the media. I was in the second car, patiently awaiting the time I would step out. When Ian popped up at the door, wearing his black uniform and shades, I knew it was time. He opened the door and I stepped out, hearing my title be thrown around as the cameras flashed in my direction. I shot everyone a smile, trying not to look directly into a flash. I headed over the carpet, many pictures being taken of me and my dress. I eventually stopped to one side and a swarm of reporters surrounded me.

"Your Highness! Is this your first Royal Variety Performance?" I heard the question first.

"No. I had been coming for quite a few years in disguise," I admitted.

"Your Highness! Is it true that you would've performed here tonight had the scandal of your ex-boyfriend not broken out, revealing your identity?"

"That is true,"

"Your Highness! What is your relationship with your ex-boyfriend now?" I knew they would be gossiping hawks form the beginning.

"We are on speaking terms," after a few more tedious questions where I elected not to tell them every single detail of my life, I headed into the hall where I joined my parents on the balcony, along with my grandmother who sat lazily in her throne. The twins were still being interrogated outside, but luckily Rodger was ordered to step in when any unsettling question would arise. That type of thing would happen, after all, one of them was missing for a week.
