Robin Hood and Zootopia take place in an alternate universe where animals rule. Robin Hood takes place in the Dark Ages (1,000 years at the most) before Zootopia, with the animals maturing, for lack of a better term, in the prehistoric times. Also, Nick could be descended from Robin Hood.
