"Everytime we have to come here I feel like I need to go to confession for a week and take a bath in bleach." Kyle commented as he and Janina took the steps up to La Boheme.

Mr. Jensen had called early that morning to let them know the recordings of Niall entering his "establishment" were ready. It made Janina's skin crawl every time he described it like that.

She stopped before pulling the door open causing Kyle to bump into her chest to chest. Both of them stopped, eyeing each other for a moment.

Janina finally remembered what she wanted to say,

"Let's just get these recordings and get the hell out of here. I have a lunch date."

Kyle's entire focus changed from what was behind the door to Janina standing in front of him,

"You have a...a da- a what?" He stumbled.

Janina nodded, pulling her ponytail through her hand nervously as she fixed her dress for no reason. She didn't know why she was suddenly nervous. Well actually, she did. She just didn't want to admit it to herself.

"I met him at the coffee shop this morning."

Kyle looked at her like she was insane,

"Oh...so you go on a date with him already?"

Janina rolled her eyes,

"You're acting like my father."

Kyle took the door from her hand as he opened it forcefully,

"Good. He'd probably kick my ass if I didn't."

Janina glared at him. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy Kyle's company. He was even pretty decent looking once she took a look. But in the words of her grandmother, "Don't shit where you eat." She wasn't about to start a work romance. Especially not with Kyle. There were too many crissy crossy things happening in the entire scenario.

She walked into La Boheme and immediately past the receptionist without even bothering to say they were here to see Mr. Jensen. The receptionist launched up from her seat, chasing Janina and Kyle down the hallway,

"You can't just go in there."
Janina knocked on Mr. Jensen's door,

"I knocked." She protested to the receptionist.

The moment Mr. Jensen opened the door the girl started talking a mile a minute. He rolled his eyes,

"It's fine, Peaches."

Kyle raised his eyebrows as the girl turned on her stiletto platform heels and walked back to her desk,

"Is that her real name?"
Mr. Jensen shrugged,

"I dunno. I like lookin' at her ass when she leaves my office though."

Janina resisted the urge to vomit. She shook her head,

"Where are the recordings?" She demanded.

"Where's my money?" He shot back.

Kyle slammed down a few bundles of hundred dollar bills on the desk and held his hand out,

"Cough it up."

Mr. Jensen smiled when he saw the money held firmly underneath Kyle's hand. He reached a flash drive out to Janina,

"Enjoy Ms. Benson. But be careful what you wish for."

Janina studied the flash drive to make sure nothing was wrong with it,

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

He looked up at her, tugging the money out from under Kyle's hand,
