It's been a month since me and my mother's fight. I never saw her. Or talk to her ever again.

Then when I'm just alone in johnny's house. Someone knocked on the door.

"Ms. Betty!"

"Ms. Betty!" I know that voice. But it can't be her.

"Miss betty went to the market with her son" I said.

When I looked up ,I facing the face that I missed so much. My mom.

"Barbara" she mumbled.

I quickly close the door.

"I'm sorry barbara" she said.

That moment when she beat me up always come all over again, as well as the memories from my childhood.

I open the door and quickly hug her. Soon after it dad got off from the car and hug us.

"You two?" I said

"Yes.. We going to a marriage psychiatrist" he said

"Ms. Betty told us to" mom said.

Soon after it johnny and his mom got back from the market.

"Hey" she greeted.

Johnny looked down to his shoes.

"You?" My mom said to johnny.

"Thank you for making my daughter happy" she said.

I'm surprised to hear that

"You never told me that you met my mom" I said to johnny's mom.

"Well, I know what I'm doing, sweetie" she said.

"So, it's now a big happy family?" Johnny said.

"It is" we said.

"Uhm, mrs bartlett?" Johnny said.

"I want to ask for your blessing, that I'm gonna, you know, marry your daughter?" He said.

"Johnny, we're 17!" I whisper.

"Well, I mean, after college" he smiled.

My mom stay silence.

"I will keep your daughter save"

"Respect her" he said

"Well, son" she said

"If that makes you two happy" said my mom

This day is the best day ever!
