Chapter Seven

"So Kyan, you have been having issues with anger?" The psychologist asks almost as a statement, she looks back down at the clipboard, barely taking notice of me and starts to write

"No" I say with my arms crossed

She looks up from her clipboard, her hazel eyes looking into mine and she raises an eyebrow "then what are you doing here?" She proceeds to write on her clipboard

I lean forward on the couch, my elbows resting on my legs and I look at my hands "it's not like I wanted this, he was hurting Diana and I got angry" I say nervously

She looks up at me again "so, you still have feelings for her?" She questions

I get frustrated "I never had feelings for her, it was purely a sexual thing and we left it at that" I confess "I have trouble getting close to people"

She half smiles "care to elaborate?" She presses for more information

I lean back on the couch, crossing my arms against my chest, I wasn't going to tell her about my past "not really" I say, closing myself off

She looks back over to me and looks me over "ah, so your anger stems from a broken relationship?" she doesn't look at the clipboard this time, her eyes boar into mine

"None of your business" I say angrily, turning away from her

"Kyan" she starts "you have to do these sessions weather you like it or not, so why don't you talk to me?" She says, her eyes pleading with me

I grunt and look away. I don't feel comfortable telling her my past, the only person who knows is Shauna and I wanted to keep it that way

I hear her sigh and stand up "well, we're out of time, I will see you again in a week" she says as she walks out the door

I realise I'm free to go, I walk back into the halls and make a bee line toward my room

"Hey!" I hear Electra shout from behind me, I turn to face her and watch as she jogs towards me "so.. how'd the first session go?"

"Terrible, I'm not good at talking about feelings" I half smile at her

She crosses her arms "it couldn't have been that bad" she says as she looks at me

I felt uncomfortable talking about it, I cross my arms "was there something you wanted?" I ask, trying to get her to drop the subject

Her mouth goes wide for a second as if she's just remembering why she had come to me "I was wondering if you wanted to go for a run?" She asks, I raise an eyebrow at her, not really sold on the idea and she shifts her feet nervously "I figured it would help you let off some steam"

She gives me puppy dog eyes and I cave "fine, but only for an hour"

"Yay" she says as she starts to walk toward the back door

We make our way to the edge of the forest, I go near the tree I always change by and start taking off my clothes, forgetting who I had in my company. I hear a gasp next to me and notice Electra had turned away from me "sorry" I say laughing

"I'll ah, change over here" she says as she walks away

We meet back in our wolf forms, I shake myself to loosen my limbs, Electra doing the same and we start running. We keep in pace with each other, not really in a rush to get anywhere and enjoy our time out

It was after a while she looks over at me "hey, Kyan" she says through mind link "try and catch me" she giggles as she starts running ahead

It's in my wolf instincts to chase her, my legs start to go faster and before I know it I'm only meters away from her

She turns her head slightly and gasps. I don't think she was expecting me to catch up to her so fast. I grin at her as she turns her head again, the distance closing between us

I swipe my paw at her back legs and she stumbles over, I put on the breaks and jump so I land above her. I hear her squeal as I pin her down, her laying on her back and me standing above her

Her laugh fills my mind, a big grin on her face and I start to laugh too

"You've gotten fast" she comments

"So have you" I say, I feel proud of how far she's come, a feeling wells up inside of me and I don't know what comes over me but I lick her cheek and in that moment we both freeze

Licking someones face while in wolf form is basically like a kiss, I just kissed Electra and I was freaking out inside

I move away from her to let her up "we should head back" I say as we both start heading for the house, silence surrounds us and we make the awkward walk back as I silently freak out inside
