"finally, you're up" ryan's voice said amusingly. i realized i was in a car, on the highway. my head throbbed and i raised my hand to rub it, only to see my hand scattered with bruises. i let out a yelp.

ryan, chuckling at my antics, turned down the radio. he was playing the beatles radio, which surprised me. according to his actions, he seemed like a heavy rock guy.

"sorry about that. you probably wouldn't of gotten in the car with me" ryan raised his eyebrows, but i just glared at him.

he reached over, grabbing my hand and inspecting it. with his eyes still glancing every so often at the road, he eyed the bruises.

"bruises are beautiful. it's like your body's way of making art on your skin, the black and blue colors fascinate me-"

i snapped my hand back. "keep your eyes on the damn road" i muttered. ryan sighed, looking at the road fully and turning up the radio again.

i turned it back down, and ryan frowned.

"where are we going?"

"we're getting tyler"

"and how do you know exactly where he is?"

"because i just know"

i rested my head against the window, wincing when i felt the cold glass hit my head. i shifted myself to make it more comfortable, and i fell asleep
