And yes, I did mean it when I told Jack I want to

make it work this time. I want to be with him. I

admit that I made a lot of mistakes back then. I

was young, and stupid, and I was terrified of love

and commitment. I was afraid of needing Jack

around. So, I did the only thing I knew how to. I 

slept around. You don't get the title as the school's

'Resident Slut' for playing guitar. And I hurt him. On

purpose. I went out of my way to hurt him, and I hate

myself for it. But, it was for the best, I guess? I mean, I

have Aniyah know. I have this beautiful little girl that I

wouldn't give up for the world. And as much as I hate to

admit it, I don't think I would change anything. Because

if anything had gone even slightly different, I wouldn't

have her. Plus, I think that now, this time, Jack and I can

make this work as an actual, proper adult relationship.
