I walked through the front door of my apartment with a smile on my face. 'Maybe going on a date with Levi was a good thing.'
"Darn your home already," Skyler says, coming from the hallway. "I thought you guys would at least root it up." She says, before putting a spoon of ice cream into her mouth.
'I know that's not my butter pecan ice cream.'
"No, we did not root it up," I said, taking off my heels. "We just talked, which I enjoyed," I say, taking a seat on the new sofa. Skyler joins me as well.
"That's good. Are you ready for date number two?" She questions.
"Yes. But I must admit, I'm actually afraid of us going on date number two." I said, taking a scoop of ice cream.
"Why is that mate?"
I sighed heavily. "What if I go on a second date with Levi, and end up actually liking him?" I questioned. "What if they find me and hurt Levi to get to me."
Skyler wraps her arm around my shoulder. "That's not gonna happen, Koby." She assures. "We've already moved so the chances of them finding us, is very slim."
"Skyler I'm telling you, you don't know them like I do. It's only a matter of time till they find me."
"And if they do, we'll kill them," Skyler says. I say nothing, but continue to eat the ice cream.
"A world without you Skyler Evans is just pure hell." I finally said.

I'm awoken by the sound of my alarm ringing. I quickly jump out of bed and prepare myself for work. Taking a quick glance at the clock, the time read 4:26 am. Which meant I had twenty minutes to make it to the hospital before my shift starts.
Once I was fully dressed, I walked into the kitchen happy to see a hot cup of tea already made for me. I made a mental note to thank Skyler when I got the chance too. The ringtone to my cell phone sounded signaling that my phone was ringing. Answering the phone without looking, and putting it against my ear.
