I've come to term that life isn't fair... At all.
I'm pregnant.
I'm actually fuckin pregnant.
There is a small human growing inside me.
My mind scans through my memories, trying to figure out how and when this happened. When the hell did Levi not use a condom? Wait. He never does use a condom. When the hell did he not pull out? I'm not ready for a kid. I'm not even mom material. If anything I have too many things going on right now to have a baby.
This is all my fault, I should've never came back to New York. "How could I be so stupid," I whisper to myself. I flop onto my bed, my eyes wondering to the picture of Skyler and me. "What would you do?" I ask her photo. I thought about it for a moment. Skyler was always a planner. So she'd most likely write a pros and cons chart. Reaching into my desk, I pulled out my note pad and a pen.
Pros
1. There's a human growing inside me.
2. I'm motivated to be the best.
3. I'd have a legacy.
4. I'd finally know what motherhood feels like.Cons
1. More stress.
2. No more long nights.
3. Less sleep.
4. So many things could go wrong.Should I even tell Levi?
Would it be selfish not too?
What if my kid grows up to hate me?
Someone knocks on my bedroom door, causing me to snap out of my thoughts. "Diana don't forget, we have to meet with Skyler's lawyer today," Simon says, on the other side of the door. Pinching the bridge of my nose, I sigh heavily. Meeting with Skyler's lawyers was useless. The only thing they were going to tell us was that there wasn't enough proof that Ford killed Skyler. And of course, tell us her last Will and Testament.
Slipping on a pair of black jeans, and a white t-shirt. I put on my jacket and black superstars. "Simon I'm going out for a bit, I'll be back just before it's time for the meeting."
Simon looks up at me, eating his cereal. "Alright cool, just make sure to call and check in." He throws the car keys at me. "Take my car. Please be careful with my baby."
I chuckle. "Okay, Simon."
💥
I walk into the small clinic and nervously walk to the receptionist. The elderly woman looks up at me, giving me a heartwarming smile.
