"Are you sure you're feeling better?" Ashley asked me as we browsed the dresses on the rack. When she had returned yesterday, she told us about a pop up even that was happening on the pier tonight and how she really wanted to go. Tyler's parents decided it would be a good idea for us and since Ashley and I hadn't really planned for a party, we decided to go shopping with the boys.

"Better than yesterday." I sighed, the aching in my bones hadn't gone but the mind-numbing headache had. My nose had stopped running but it was now blocked so I couldn't breathe through it. In all honesty, I probably should have stayed in bed but I didn't want to let anyone down. "Still not one hundred per cent though."

"You don't have to go tonight." She said.

"I'm fine, Ash." I lied, I felt like I was going to pass out but I don't want to be a burden on them anymore. After everything that has happened, I have become quite tense which didn't help my flu, in fact it was probably making it worse, I just wanted to have some fun.

I went back to looking at the clothes and picked up a couple of options- I had no idea what I wanted to wear but with the way my body is aching I just want to be comfortable.

"Are you two going to try any of this shit on?" Lucas asked, leaning against one of the clothes racks. Tyler was doing the same, they were both obviously bored out of their brains.

"Yeah, come on." I said dragging Ashley to the changing rooms. Tyler and Lucas sat on the chairs outside waiting for one of us to show them what we had on- not that we were dressing for them but because it's easier to decide when you've got multiple points of views. I slipped on this black, ripped, denim skirt and metallic burgundy cami then pulled the curtain aside.

"What do you think?" I asked. Ashley followed me and came out in long, grey, flowy trousers and a white v-neck crop top.

"I love it but I'm not sure for a party." She responded, glancing over what I had chosen.

"And me?" She asked.

"The trousers look good but the top doesn't look right." I told her. Simultaneously, we glanced over towards our boyfriends, who looked about ready to leave. They didn't seem too enamoured but nodded their heads at both of us. We went back into the rooms and tried again. This time, I came out in a sheer black top and white skinny jeans, I wasn't quite sure about this one. Ashley took a few more minutes and then came out blue bardot bodycon dress.

"I really like it, even if you don't want to wear it tonight please buy it, it looks amazing." I smiled at her, baby blue was always her colour.

"Yeah it does look good." Lucas agreed.

"I like the top, not the jeans." She said.

"Really?" I questioned. "Because I thought the shirt was a bit too risky for me."

"No, you could do with taking a few more risks." Tyler said causing me to turn and give him a strange look.

"What' that supposed to mean?" I inquired.

"Nothing." He responded, looking a tiny bit panicked. I smiled and we both returned into the cubicles. I only one more option left, something I never thought I would be able to pull off. I guess it was worth a try. I changed out of the top and jeans a put on a pink two piece- a skirt and strapless top.

"Ash, are you ready?" I asked.

"Yes." She responded pretty quickly, this time we both came out together. Ashley was wearing a short grey skirt with a flowy, mesh over the top that fell to her feet, on top she was wearing a light blue, crop top with a high neck line.
