I gazed out my window at all of the familiar scenery surrounding us, soon a school came into view.

"That's your new school, (Y/n)."

I smiled at the thought of going to a public school again.

"It looks nice, Mom."

I can't wait until tomorrow, hopefully I will make a few friends...

"Before we go home, how about a quick stop?"

My mother smiled and pointed at the Dupain-Cheng bakery.

"Cool!"

I could feel my face light up from joy.

The limousine came to an easy stop and we exited the vehicle.

I walked up to the door and took a deep breath of the fine air of Paris before walking inside.

The moment I opened the door and stepped inside, my nostrils were filled with the mouthwatering smell of croissants, chocolate chip cookies, and fruity macaroons.

Stepping up to the counter of bakery I rang the bell that sat next to the register.

A petite Chinese woman with black hair emerged from around the corner with her very large husband.

"Oh! (Y/n)! It's so good to see you!"

I smiled as she and the man came up and gave me a tight, loving hug.

"Aunt Sabine. Uncle Tom. Hello!"

They released me from their tight hug and my aunt pointed to a cookie tray covered in freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

"Please, help yourself, Marinette is just upstairs in her room if you want to say hi."

I nodded my head and took a hand full of the cookies, eating them on the way up.

Mmm. They always make the best sweets.

I was on my last cookie when I reached the "trap door" that lead to Marinette's room.

Scarfing the final cookie down, I knocked on the door.

"Come in."

I could hear her small voice ever so slightly.

Opening the trap door and letting myself in, I walked over to Marinette's bed and sat down.

Marinette yawned and covered her mouth being polite, then stretched and spoke.

"What can I do for you, mom?"

Mom? Did she not know I was coming today?

I let out a small chuckle then gave a smirk to the sight of back of her head.

"I'm not old enough to be a mom, Mari."

She gasped then turned around in a flash.

"(Y/n)!!"

Her smile was so bright that it could blind me.

Next thing I knew, I was tackled onto the soft pink bed.

"Okay, Mari, keep it up and you'll suffocate me."

She giggled innocently and got off me apologizing.

"Sorry, I've just missed you, cousin!"

I smiled softly and looked at her bluebell eyes.

"Me too, cousin."
