"(Y/n)!!"

Her smile was so bright that it could blind me.

Next thing I knew I was tackled onto the soft pink bed.

"Okay, Mari, keep it up and you'll suffocate me."

She giggled innocently and got off me apologizing.

"Sorry, I've just missed you cousin!"

I smiled softly and looked at her bluebell eyes.

"Me too, cousin"

"So, what have you been doing since I left Paris?"

Marinette pulled up her pink wheeled chair and sat by the bed.

"Well...let's see. I have been working on my designs a lot. High-school is great, y'know minus the irrelevant people, but I have my own small group of friends that I like to hang out with."

I smiled.

"Sounds cool! Anything out of the ordinary?"

She got really frantic.

"Out if the ordinary? Pshhhhhhhh...me? No way, completely normal. Hehehe..."

Hm. Weird...

I smirked and looked at her slyly.

"Anybody you like?"

Her face reddened and she touched her cheeks.

"U-um w-well...yeah there is this o-one g-guy at my school."

She was stuttering terribly, she always did when she was flustered, ever since she was a kid.

"What's his name? What does he look like?"

She grabbed my hand a pointed to her wall and computer screensaver.

I got up and looked at the pictures of the boy in front of me.

He had brushed-back blond hair and light green eyes. His skin tone is fair with a rosy tint, especially on his cheeks, nose, and the tips of his ears.

"He's cute, Mari."

She fiddled with her thumbs and walked up to me.

"Yeah, but I don't know if it's going to work out."

I frowned at her sudden statement.

"What? Mari, why not?"

She sighed.

"It's complicated."

I pulled her into a small embrace patting her back.

"Don't worry, Marinette, you'll know for sure when you've met your one."

She smiled faintly and nodded.

"Yeah, you're right. So, you're going to school with me staring tomorrow?"

I have a goofy smile and nodded.

"You bet!"

We both broke into a laughing fit.

"Ah, I'm glad you're back, (Y/n)."

She wiped laughter tears from her eyes and smiled big.

"Me too, Mari."
