our eyes meet each other's as my neighbor opens his mouth to speak, "hi." he says.
"hi." i say.
"what's your name? i'm jimin." jimin says.
"my name is y/n." i say, having no interest to talking to him.
"ahh, well y/n. how's your life?" jimin says.
"normal." i say.
"my life is great, thanks for asking." jimin says as he chuckles.
"you're not funny." i say.
"can't you see i'm trying to spark up a conversation?" jimin says.
"yes, i can see." i say.
"then why are you being so.. rude?" jimin says.
"rude? me? i'm the nicest person you can ever meet." i say.
"doesn't seem like it." jimin says as i snicker.
"what are you doing here on the balcony anyways?" jimin says.
"enjoying the view." i say.
"there is no view, it's a city.. new york city." jimin says.
"is there something wrong with the city?" i say.
"no.. not really.. it's just kind of noisy and the air is polluted. y'know?" jimin says.
"then why are you here?" i say.
"i've always wanted a job in new york city, so here i am." jimin says as he sighs.
"i actually find the view quite relaxing." i say.
