"Hey Charlie you're still coming over after school right?" Joji asks, leaning against her locker and crossing his arms.
"Uhh," Charlie tucks a strand of her black hair behind her ear avoiding eye contact with him. "about that."
"No no no you can't do that! We've been planning this for weeks you can't just bail out on me." Joji whines and shakes her shoulders lightly.
"I know I'm sorry, but Rian asked me out and I couldn't say no." She grabs Joji's hands. "I'll make it up to you I swear."
"Pinky promise?" Joji asks like a little kid. Charlie laughs but sticks her pinky out.
"Pinky promise."
