Waiting for Friday felt like forever but it finally came and Joji was ecstatic for Charlie to come over. It was going to be like when they were younger, staying up all night playing games and having random conversations.
The last class of the day ended and Joji headed for the front gates to wait for Charlie. He spotted her walking out of school but before he could go up to her Rian showed up behind her. He decided to wait until he left to go to her, he didn't want to cause problems.
He watched as they talked and held each other. He felt a pang of jealousy in his chest. That's his Charlie, his best friend, who's Rian to come take him away from him? Before he could get angrier Charlie gave Rian a kiss and walked away. Joji gritted his teeth and walked towards her.
"Charlie over here!" He shouted. Charlie smiled and ran to him, giving him a hug and laughed.
"Are you ready to get your ass kicked in Super Mario?" She asked, lightly punching his arm. He laughed and rolled his eyes.
"In your dreams little girl." He put his arm around her and walked towards his car. This was going to be the best night ever.
