Chapter 11. Announcement.

"Congratulations!"

I'm filled with joy for a second, imagining how Luke will react, but then how will I explain this to my father? My alpha?

This is going to be a hard few months.

I thanked the doctor and left, barely speaking.

I then realize that no matter what, I'm gonna love this baby and I don't care who knows. I immediately pull over and text Luke.

Meet me in the room asap

I then continue to drive until I hear a ping! And then I pull over and look at his message.

On my way

I'm thinking about how to tell him. Should I just blurt it out, or lead up to it?

Should I make him think?

Yes, I should. Foreshadow for a bit, then, if he doesn't guess it, I'll tell him.

As I park at my house, I strip, shift, and run.

As I near the tunnel, I hear a twig snap behind me.

I look behind me but see nothing. I shrug and keep running.

A few feet from the tunnel, I shift back and change.

Again, I hear a twig snap.

Again, nothing there.

I slip into the tunnel as discreetly as possible, and walk/run down the long, dirty, yet beautiful corridor.

I see Luke, standing by the door, pacing nervously.

I run up to him and jump on him, scaring him completely.

"Why the hell did you do that!! What's wrong! What took so long?" He fires multiple questions at me.

I look at him, seeing his tense features.

"I was just at the doctors. There's something wrong with my stomach." I said melodramatically.

"Oh no. This is bad. What are we gonna do? How long do you have?" He asked, tears forming in his eyes.

"I'll be pretty sick for nine months and then it'll be over." I say, giggling internally.

"No. Nonononono!" He starts to yell.

After he calms down. He asks, "Whats the disease called.

His is it.

"Pregnancy"

His eyes started to shine, but not from tears of sadness. These were tears of joy.

He lifted me up and spun me around.

"Are you serious?" He asked in bewilderment.

I nodded in response.

He then proceeded to crash his lips onto mine. We just stood there, kissing each other until we heard a familiar howl. A battle howl.

We turned to look down my end of the tunnel and saw none other than Graydon.

"This can't be! I'm your mate!" He screams.

"You!" He looks at Luke,"are going to pay for this."
