Chapter 4

I walk on the bus to see Jacks face light up with a smile.

"Hey" he says as i sit down.

"I still dont forgive you" i say plugging in my headphones.

"For what?" He asks.

"Taking my blade" i say turning on the 1975.

"Im helping you!" Jack says.

"I dont need help" i say staring straight ahead and ignoring him for the rest of the bus ride.

When i get to my locker i see Jack J standing there, it looks like hes been waiting for me.

"Oh um... Hey Trin" he says.

"Hi" i smile opening my locker.

"I have a question" he says.

"Okay what?" I ask.

"Do you wanna go to homecoming with me this weekend?" He asks.

"Okay sure!" I say and he smiles.

"I have to go to class, ill text you" Jack J says walking to class.

I walk into class and sit down next to Jack G.

"Damn Jones, what took u so long?!" He asks.

"Call me that one more time and ill stab you in the eye with this pencil" i threaten.

"But why are you almost late?" He asks.

"Jack J asked me to homecoming" i say taking out my paper.

"He did?! What did you say?" He asks me.

"I said yes" i say.

"Ohh" Jack G says sounding a bit disappointed.

"Why?" I ask.

"No reason." Jack says.

After school i get a text from Jack G telling me to go to the auditorium.

The theater is empty except for a chair on stage. Someone tells me to sit in it.

"Okay?" I say.

Watch this be a new kid prank Jack planned and he just wanted me to tell him everything so he can plan this.

I sit in the chair waiting for something to fall down on me or people come make fun of my cutting.

I look at the floor on stage with "Homecoming?" Written in roses.

I smile because this is the cutest thing.

Then spotlights turn on and shine on a figure in the back of the auditorium.

Its jack holding flowers.

I smile a big smile at him because this is the cutest thing anyones ever done to me.

Jack comes on the stage.

"Is this how Jack J asked you?" He asks and i shake my head.

"He just asked and walked away." I say.

"What a douche move" he says.

"Jack!" I say.

"What?" He asks.

"This is the cutest thing anyones ever done for me, but i already said yes to jack J" i say.

"So just tell him you cant go" Jack says.

"I cant just do that" i say then jack throws the flowers on the floor.

"Hope you have a great time with pretty little Jack Johnson" he says storming out.

Tears roll down my face. I really wanted to go with Jack G i just didnt wanna turn down Jack J.

God i fucked up.

I run down the hall trying to find Jack J. Finally i bump into him.

"Hey listen, im sorry but i know when you asked me i already said yes but i totally forgot i had another date" i say.

"Who?" He asks.

"Jack G. Look im really, really sorry" i say.

"Hey, its okay, no hard feelings" Jack says.

"Thank you so much" i say then walk away.

I see Jack G walking to his house when i come out the school door.

"JACK!" I yell chasing after him.

"JACK WAIT!" I yell. Then i feel my asthma kick in and start to get dizzy.

I fall to the floor and see Jack running towards me.

"TRIN! TRIN ARE YOU OKAY!?" He asks picking me up in his arms
