The Dark Knight and Amazon's Fallen Infinity

Chapter 1

--Bruce/Batman's POV--

"Is everybody called for?" I asked. Superman nodded his head. "Okay everybody, stop chitchatting and pay attention to me." Everybody's eyes turned to the me. "That's better...Mysterious outbreaks of this toxin have been spreading across the world. People have been poisoned, and some have died because they have a weak immune system. We are all going to break into groups of two or three. The teleportation device with teleport you to your specific places..." And that's when I saw her, her stern face looking right at me. Her silk black hair rubbing up against her cheeks, her fierce blue eyes, and her strong Amazonian structure... "Ummm...Batman are you done?" asked Superman. I snapped back into reality and said, "No, I will split you up into teams, keep your coms on at all times, and report anything else that might be unusual to you. Martian, if we cannot be reached through our coms, link us telepathically... No one try anything stupid

Hawk girl, Red Tornado, and Vixen
Martian Man Hunter, and Flash
Green Lantern, Captain Marvel,and Doctor Fate
Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, and Black Canary
Hawkman, Huntress, and Atom
Superman, Aquaman, and Zatanna
(And so on)

As Superman left, he smiled at me, and teleported to his destination. I wanted to punch him. With everybody separated that left Wonder Woman and I... She smiled and nodded her head at me as she walked past me.

Walking to the the teleportation device, I was smiling inside. She punched the coordinates in, and off we went to our destination. Little did I know we would be paying a visit to one of Diana's relatives...

Diana, explain this!! NOW! Green grasses, powerful waters and waves surrounded me. Unique plants, and flowers were all around me too. I stared at Diana, knowing where we were. "The machine out us here! I did not touch anything!" Shocked, I responded back, "Wait, there were traces of the toxin here? I thought Themyscira was covered from the outside world?" Her head hung low, and she said, "It's suppose to be, but I have no clue how it came here!" I wanted to touch her hand, and comfort her, but... "We have to go find my mother, and she'll help, hopefully"... I walked to where I had once almost died, but I kept walking.

We finally made it to Hippolyta's palace. In my opinion she freaks me out, I'll never say that to Diana because that may not go smooth. Diana went to her mother while I stood back. Tomorrow would be my the day my parents died. My heart was still empty from twenty years passing. Looking over to Diana hugging her mother, there was a sharp pain in my chest. She was lucky, and that was all I thought about.

Diana motioned me over to them. I kneeled before Hippolyta. She placed her hand on my shoulder, and I raised from the cold marble floor... "It's a pleasure to have you dark knight, you'll be a great help. I looked over her shoulder, and saw Diana, but she was not herself. Her eyes not normal, standing stern. I jumped up, and started to attack Hippolyta, then something strong and big hit me in the back, and I blacked out with Hippolyta over me.
