Chapter 2

(Y/N)'s POV
I climb up Prism Tower trying to get to Garchomp, Froakie followed me and helped me, I finally make it to the top where Garchomp was, it growled at me, "Don't worry Garchomp, I'm here to help" I explain, it used dragon rage at the sky

Serena's POV
My mom called me over and showed me a Garchomp and a boy on top of Prism Tower in Lumiose city, the camera gets closer to the boy who looks about my age trying to help the Garchomp, I've seen that boy before, could he be the same one from when I was little, when I was little I went to a summer camp in Pallet Town, I got lost in a forest and I fell and hurt myself, and a boy named (Y/N) found me and helped me get back to the campgrounds, after that for the rest of the camp we were always talking and having fun with each other, when camp was over my mom said that we were moving to the Kalos region which is really far from Kanto, I haven't forgotten that boy since, and now I can see him again, (Y/N) saved the Garchomp and got to safety, yep, that's (Y/N) alright, he looks so mature now, even though he's sixteen like me he still looks mature, he's pretty cute too, I need to see him again, I bet he'll be surprised to see me, I tell my mom I'm going out tomorrow to get a Pokémon so I can see him

(Y/N)'s POV the next day
Clemont and Bonnie wanted to come along with me, which is good because traveling alone is boring, Froakie wanted to come along with me and now I already have my first Pokémon, we head out for Santalune city which is the closest gym, we head through Santalune forest and I caught a Fletchling that ate a wild Dedenne's treat we were trying to give it, and that Dedenne grew close with Bonnie so it came along with us and sleeps in Bonnie's bag, we make it to Santalune city and I immediately try and find the gym, I challenge the gym leader and now I can finally have a gym battle

Serena's POV
I went to Professor Sycamore's lab and got a Fennekin and I asked about (Y/N) and he told me that he was heading for Santalune city, after going through the forest I went towards the gym excitedly ready to see my old friend again after so long, and not to mention he's pretty cute, I enter the doors of the gym and I see (Y/N) battling the Gym Leader, I watch from the sidelines with a boy named Clemont and a little girl named Bonnie, wow, his Fletchling destroys the Gym Leader's Surskit, (Y/N) looks so calm, then the Villion defeats the Fletchling and (Y/N) looks worried, "Oh crap" I heard him say disappointed, he grabs a weakened Pikachu and returned his Fletchling to its pokéball, Clemont and Bonnie follow him, I guess those are his friends, (Y/N) left his bag so I grab it I follow him too, I find (Y/N) sitting outside the Pokémon center writing in a journal, I take a deep breath and walk up to him, "Excuse me" I say gently, he looks at me, "You left your bag at the gym" I explain handing him the bag, "Thanks, I'm guessing you saw me embarrass myself huh?" He asks, "You didn't embarrass yourself, you were amazing" I say, he smiles at me, I smile back feeling myself blush a little, then an intercom goes off saying that (Y/N)'s Pokémon are ready, I should probably heal my Fennekin as well, after that we sit down and talk a little
