Chapter 13

(Y/N)'s POV
The battle still rages on, Pikachu wasn't able to hang in with Diantha's Gardevoir, that means we were both down to our final Pokémon, her Gardevoir and my Greninja, "Greninja! You're up!" I yell as Greninja comes out, "So it comes down to this, I've really enjoyed this battle, but it's time to end it" Diantha says, "Let's do this!" I say, Gardevoir was doing damage to Greninja but he was hanging in there, soon our bond was activated and we started to get ahead, Gardevoir was slowing down and starting to get tired, she seemed to be hurt, and I noticed the look on Diantha's face, she looked worried and shocked, the crowd was going crazy, all this brings a smile to my face, "Time to finish this! Use water shuriken!" I yell, Greninja throws a huge water shuriken at Gardevoir who tried to move away but couldn't, its eyes widened as the shuriken hit her, when the smoke cleared, Greninja regained his balance and Gardevoir collapses onto the floor, "Gardevoir is unable to battle! The winner is (Y/N) the challenger!" The referee says, "YES!!" I yell, the crowd goes crazy, I hug Pikachu and then we run over to Greninja who we hug as well, "We did it! We finally did it!" I yell, we celebrate together as Diantha walks up to us, "Congratulations (Y/N), I've never had that much fun in a battle in so long, you're one hell of a trainer" she says, "Thanks, and you're the toughest trainer I've ever had to face" I say, we shake hands

Serena's POV
(Y/N) WON!! I'm so proud of him!! I couldn't stop cheering, I hug Clemont and Bonnie excitedly, Brock looked even more happy, he's known (Y/N) for a long time so this must be very emotional for him to see his longtime friend accomplish such a feat, "Ladies and gentlemen, presenting your winner and the new Kalos League Champion! (F/N) (L/N)!" The announcer says, the crowd cheers and so do I, when we met up with him, I excitedly ran up to him and jumped into his arms, "You did it!! I'm so proud of you!!" I say excitedly, "This victory isn't mine alone, my Pokémon deserve the all the glory, I couldn't have done it without them" (Y/N) says scratching Pikachu behind the ears making him let out a happy cry, "That was amazing (Y/N)!" Clemont says, "Yeah! You were so cool!" Bonnie says excitedly, "Atta boy (Y/N)! That's what I'm talking about!" Brock says patting (Y/N) on the back, "Thanks guys, I wouldn't have gotten here without you guys, thank you" (Y/N) says, "We're glad to be with you" Clemont says

(Y/N)'s POV
I bring out all my Pokémon show them the trophy we won, "We did it guys, all our hard work and determination paid off! And this is gonna be the first of many, because we still have the other region Leagues to win, I can't thank you enough guys, you're all amazing" I say, all the Pokémon come to give me a hug, all at once including Snorlax so I was basically a pancake, but I was enjoying the love, "I love you guys" I say, after that, Brock comes up to me, "I have to get going now, it was nice seeing you again" he says, "It was nice seeing you too Brock" I say, we shake hands, "I'll see ya around" I say, "Yeah" he replies, after a smile, he walks off, "So is this it? Is the journey over?" Bonnie asks sadly, "Not yet, I was thinking we could go back to Lumiose city together, one last time" I say, I look over to see Serena seeming to be sad about something, "Is something wrong Serena?" I ask, she looks at me and smiles, "N-No, I'm fine" she says, but I wasn't convinced

Serena's POV
We make it Lumiose city and each step we take makes me feel more sad and upset, I don't want (Y/N) to go, he has a flight back to Kanto tomorrow and I'm not ready to say goodbye, when me and (Y/N) were alone, he noticed my sadness, "Hey, what's wrong? You've been so quiet ever since we got here" he asks, "It's nothing.. don't worry" I say, "Serena, come on, tell me what's wrong, I know something's up" he says, I sigh, "I just.. don't want you to go, I'm really going to miss you" I say, he just smiles, "Then I think you're going to like this" he says, he takes something out of his bag and shows me two plane tickets, my eyes widen, "I was going to ask you if you wanted to come along, but I didn't know what you would've said" he explains, "Yes!" I say hugging him excitedly, "That's great! You're going to love it!" He says, "I can't wait!" I reply, we share a passionate kiss and celebrate by making out
