Serena x Male reader (Pokémon X and Y)

Chapter 8

(Y/N)'s POV
I finally have all eight badges and now I can focus on the Pokémon League, I go to a Pokémon center and tell my friends that I'll be back, I was planning on going all out on this one, I'm tired of losing, I'm going to be using my best Pokémon, the best of the best, my ultimate team, I discuss it with Professor Oak and he sends me the Pokémon I ask for, then my friends come to see what I'm doing, "Is everything alright?" Clemont asks, "Yep, just having a talk with an old friend" I tell him, Professor Oak ends the call and I quickly put the new Pokémon in my bag, "Come on outside, I have something to show you" I explain, they all follow me outside by a field, "What is it that you want to show us? Serena asks, "Pikachu would you stand over there for a second?" I ask, Pikachu hops off of my shoulder and stands on the ground, "Alright, I want you to meet the team that will lead me to victory" I say throwing the Pokéballs in the air and the Pokémon come out, my ultimate team consists of Pikachu, Charizard, Sceptile, Snorlax, Greninja, and Infernape, "Wow!" They all say, "These are some of my strongest Pokémon from my adventures, these guys all have gotten me through some tough situations, I'll be using these guys to help me out in the Pokémon League" I explain, "Still going strong I see" a familiar voice says, then I see my old friend Brock smile at me, "Brock!" I say excitedly, "It's been a while" he says, my Pokémon besides Greninja come over to say hi, "Who's this" Clemont asks, "This is my old friend Brock, he's a Pokémon breeder and a former gym leader" I explain, "Nice to meet you guys" Brock says, "It's nice to meet you too" Serena says, "So (Y/N) is this girlfriend?" Brock teases, "Actually yes" I reply, "What!? Oh come on, how come you get the girls and I can't even get one to look at me!?" Brock complains, I chuckle, "So you're using these guys in the Pokémon league?" Brock asks, "Yep, these guys are the best of the best, and I'm planning on really showing the champion what I got" I explain, "I have some free time so how about I come along with you guys, like old times" Brock offers, "That would be great" I say, we shake hands and he comes along on our journey, we make it to the league and I show them my I.D and the badges and they enter me in the league, Brock cooks for us which I'm glad for, Clemont's cooking is great and all but I missed Brock's cooking, his was the best, the other Pokémon were also glad to have Brock back, they dig in and Greninja definitely is going to miss this meal because I've never seen him eat this much before, "Woah slow down there Greninja, there's more" I say, we clean up our dishes and I grab my Pokémon's dishes, Charizard was lounging around and relaxing as always, Sceptile was doing the same but in a tree as usual, Snorlax was fast asleep, no big surprise, Greninja was meditating and Infernape was relaxing as well, Pikachu spends time catching up with his fellow members of my team, I begin training, I also give myself a workout, and my team of mixed Pokémon seem to get along great, we work ourselves hard, we practice new techniques and master old ones, I cheer and my Pokémon are excited about this as I am, we settle in our tents and Brock isn't used to seeing me sleep with a girl, "Are you guys in that stage of the relationship already?" Brock asks, "Yep" I answer him, Serena blushed, "It seems like my good looks rubbed off on you" Brock teases and gets in his tent, Serena snuggles up to me and Pikachu sleeps right next to me, although I can't really sleep, I'm too focused on winning the League
