you find everything lame (vi)

Taehyung stared into Jungkook's dark brown eyes. What a pretty shape. Jungkook suddenly laughed a little, making Taehyung confused.

He must've seen the elder's face when he said, "You do know that's a caramel macchiato, right?" Jungkook laughed a little. Ya, he's a bit dumb. Taehyung smirked slightly then wore a small frown. "Jungkook-ssi, it's called a pick up line."

Jungkook stopped laughing and blushed slightly. Taehyung put his hand over his mouth.

"Oops."

Jungkook coughed to release the tension between them. He swept his hair out of his eyes but as soon as he looked back up, Taehyung was gone. The younger laughed to himself and smiled, what a way to expose yourself. He got back to his work.

Taehyung briskly walked out of the building, his face as red as a tomato. What did you do, Kim Taehyung?

He eventually arrived at a cafe called the EatJin cafe, the cafe that Jungkook was talking about. He was glad he found a place for him to wind down.

He entered the cafe, coffee filled the air with a hint of vanilla essence. There weren't as much people inside, he saw that many people just ordered and walked out. He noticed a familiar looking man and coincidentally, that man looked at him as well and smiled.

"Oh! Taehyung-ssi! Hello." Jimin approached him. Taehyung greeted him, "Hi! Didn't expect to see you here. You come here often?"
"Yeah, I do. It's a really cool place."

Taehyung took the opportunity to ask Jimin,
"Do you have anything important to do during this time?"
Jimin smiled again, showing his iconic eye smile.

"Ahh sorry Taehyung-ssi, I have a meeting that goes on for who-knows-how-long." Jimin frowned slightly, "But if you want, you can come over to my place for dinner tomorrow. I'd like to know you better, really. And I know Jungkook wouldn't do this so I might as well take the chance."

Taehyung's eyes lit up, "Okay, sure. I'll come around. Oh and you should have my phone number as well."
Both men took out their phones and exchanged numbers. Jimin's name was called out by Seokjin. Taehyung waved to Jimin as he walked out the cafe.

Back at the office, Jungkook texted Yoongi:

Me:
Hey hyung

Agust D hyung:
Hey Kook, u can just walk to my desk you know

Me:
Yeah i know but anyway, can u come to my desk. theres something i need to tell u

"Jungkook-ah!" Yoongi called out as he approached Jungkook's desk.

"It's about Taehyung-ssi," Jungkook started, "I think he's flirting with me and I don't know what to do." He said it quietly so no one could hear.

"He legit exposed himself in front of me. He was making a joke about my caramel macchiato and how I 'mocha' him 'crazy'. A bit lame if you ask me-"

"Yah, Jeon Jungkook you find everything lame!" Yoongi interjected and laughed, earning him a flick on the arm.

"But anyway," Jungkook gestured for himself to continue,"I'm sure he got so embarrassed because as soon as I put my head down to laugh, he went away to I dunno where." Jungkook leaned back onto his chair.

"Ahh, that explains earlier. He asked me if you were available." Yoongi said, scratching his head. Jungkook's eyes looked like they were about to pop out of their sockets.

Great.

"Well, I'm not good at any of these things so I'm useless at this point." Yoongi explained. Yoongi was never good with these situations, he can't even get Hoseok's attention at this rate.

"Meh, worth a shot." Jungkook shrugged and flicked his hair out of the way.

"Sorry, Kook. Well, I'm just gonna go back now doing who-knows-what." Yoongi smiled slightly and walked off.

All of a sudden, Jungkook realised he's been asking the wrong person for advice. He picked up his phone and called his friend, Jeon Wonwoo.

"Taehyung?"

The hazel-haired man approached the counter to grab his eggs benedict sandwich and matcha green tea frappe. As soon as he picked up his food and thanked Seokjin, a song started to play for the whole cafe to hear:

'Baby, baby geudaeneun caramel macchiato. yeojeonhi nae ibgaen daehyangi dalkhomae. Baby, baby tonight~'

Taehyung found himself smiling and humming the song by Urban Zakapa as he walked out the coffee shop. And that song, without a doubt, made him think of the one and only Jeon Jungkook.
