"Taehyung-ssi, welcome. Come in."

Taehyung took a step into Jimin's apartment. The place was very simple and very modern. Taehyung was expecting this. I mean, they do work as architects.

Jimin led Taehyung to his dining table, Yoongi in the nearby kitchen. The eldest man saw both of them and smiled. "Nice to see you, Taehyung-ssi." He said as he went back to stirring the noodles.

Jimin placed prawn crackers on the table and asked Taehyung who sat down on the grey chairs, "So, you like the office so far?"

Taehyung smiled, "Yes, of course."
He smirked a bit to himself. One particular desk.

"Ah, good to hear. Sorry that Jungkook couldn't come. He was meant to come here but he had plans before I asked him," Jimin apologised, "is Jungkook the secretary you're looking for?"

"Well yes. He's very serious and respectful, which I find pretty h-" Taehyung stopped in his tracks, making him blush.

Jimin looked confused. Yoongi, who was listening to their conversation had his mouth open in shock, but closed it again to prevent him from laughing out loud.

"What were you saying?" Jimin questioned the man in front of him.

Taehyung's palms went sweaty,

"He's very," what's the word,

"helpful."

Jeon Wonwoo's apartment

"Wonwoo-ah!" Mingyu came rushing through the door with a worried face, "Jungkook! Hi, Wonwoo-hyung said you'd be here."

Jungkook waved, "Nice to see you too."

Wonwoo got up from the couch and nearly ran towards Mingyu,

"This boy needs help."

Jungkook just sat on the couch shrugging his shoulders.
"Wonwoo-hyung's just exaggerating. It's not that big."

Wonwoo scoffed, "Are you sure? Have you ever liked a guy before?" Jungkook was defeated and sighed,
"Well- okay fine. I haven't. Hyung, just help me."

After Mingyu, Wonwoo and Jungkook settled, they sat on the couch. Jungkook mentioned everything about the pick up lines and the very subtle hints his boss was giving him.

"Hold up," Mingyu held up his hand when Jungkook finished speaking, "have you actually tried being nice to him or are you just letting him pass by you?"

Jungkook smiled, "I mean, as nice it would be to be in a relationship, I don't think he's the right one."

"What makes you so sure?" Wonwoo asked the younger.

"I guess, we never really talked much except for the times I showed him his office or that time he asked for a recommendation. That's pretty much it."

"Have you seen the way he looks at you? Well, I don't know how he looks like but does he look at you differently?"

Jungkook had a mental image of Taehyung lying his head across his desk at work. His eyes seemed to sparkle and his grin just went even more, cuter?

"I guess you can say that." Jungkook replied.

Wonwoo smiled, "Mingyu was like that when I first met him," Mingyu started to blush furiously and when his boyfriend and Jungkook noticed, they started to laugh.
"But anyway, I just remembered feeling not good enough for him." The eldest continued.

"Hyung, you remember he's my boss, right?"

"Yeah, there's the workplace barriers. That's the only thing in the way in my opinion. Do you know where he is now? You could take him for somewhere to eat."

Jungkook remembered, "He's with my co-workers, Jimin and Yoongi for dinner right now. Actually, I was meant to bring him to dinner, as per request by Jimin. But technically it isn't fair because the last boss barely even talked to me. So I don't know how I'm supposed to act."

Mingyu just laughed at the younger's stubbornness, "Do it anyway. It'll make him happy at least."

Jungkook just sighed and crossed his arms. This is so confusing.

Park Jimin's apar(k)tment

The three men finished the ramen Yoongi made.

"Wow, thank you for this. I look forward to spending my time as your boss." Taehyung smiled as he drank his water.

"We look forward to it too." Yoongi said, "Jimin, will it be okay if I talk to Taehyung-ssi for a sec?"

Jimin got up, nodded and said, "Sure. I'll clean up here."

Yoongi and Taehyung thanked Jimin and both walked to the living room.

As soon as they sat down, Yoongi lowered his voice, "how's it going with Jungkook? He's tough isn't he?"

Taehyung nodded, "Definitely. And uh," he played with the sleeves of his long sleeve, "I think I may have exposed myself. I was telling him a metaphor then I just said, "it's called a pick-up line." And I just ran away. I couldn't face him."

Yoongi sighed, "That's a shame. Your gonna want to confront him and apologise. It's difficult but it's nice to do it as soon as possible."

Taehyung smiled, "Ahh thank you, Yoongi-ssi," Yoongi smiled in return,

"Anytime."

"But now," the hazel-haired man smirked, "I know he loves caramel macchiato."
