After his little outing,  Hoseok returned to his life in the basement, although, he had been going to school again, so as not to draw attention to us, or his prior disappearance.
Jungkook assured me that he wouldn't rat us out or run away, and I wasn't entirely sure why he had so much trust in Hoseok, but I decided not to ask too many questions, since, as I had learned, that never ended well for any party involved.

Hoseok had been hanging out with Namjoon at school, and the pair had been spending much more time around Jimin and Taehyung, than I had been comfortable with to say the least.  I had to admit, it really got my blood boiling.
Their conversations weren't centered around me anymore, instead, conversation was focused on school, and weekend plans, and occasionally even Seokjin’s flourishing career in music. The strange thing was, that every time Seokjin was brought up, Jungkook laughed loudly, in fact, it could be considered jolly.

I finally gathered the courage to ask after a couple days of his continued laughter what he found so funny, and when I was finally told I had to admit, it was kind of hilarious.

“Seokjin is one of the vocalists in Parallel, the new boy group in my company. I'm his manager.” he laughed again, before pulling out his phone and showing me a picture of five, incredibly handsome, young men in their twenties standing in front of a mostly white background, featuring a large black outline of a circle, which had been split in half on an angle with 2 jet black sets of parallel lines, and between the two halves was the word ‘Parallel’ in small, bold black font. He pointed to the man in the middle.
    “That's our main vocal, Jin.”

………

Like every other day, we continued to watch the live feed sent to us from Hoseok’s phone, until the GPS alerted us to him arriving home, at which time we promptly switched off the laptop and greeted him at the door.
It had become habitual for him to hand Jungkook his phone and wait for us to take him downstairs, however this afternoon was slightly different.
After taking his phone, Jungkook invited the boy to have dinner with us,  stating that he was making bulgogi, this took both Hoseok and I by surprise, but he didn't object. We all ate together at the large wooden table, and afterwards Hoseok complemented Kookie on his cooking ability, and made polite conversation, as if nothing about our dinner or relationship had been amiss at all.

Post-dinner we had another surprise for Hobi,  the night before, Jungkook had moved another bed into my room, which had been previously designated for him.

While Hoseok was getting settled in the room the two of us would now be sharing, Jungkook and I had made our way to the living room to watch a movie, just as we always did. Jungkook had handed me Hoseok’s phone, as usual, to turn off the camera and check any messages. There were no messages, but dozens of new notifications on his twitter, most of which were from Jimin and Taehyung, stating that they were going to watch Jin’s first concert a little later that night.

………

A mere three hours later I was standing a couple blocks away from the concert venue, next to what appeared to be an abandoned factory of sorts, trying to warm my gloved hands in the chilly November air, waiting for Jungkook. He  had informed me that, as his manager, he had to be at the concert venue at the very least.
It was then that I saw Jimin and Taehyung rounding  the corner, about a block away, continuing a steady pace towards me. I should have suspected that the two would never be separate for more than a few moments.

Moments later Jungkook appeared behind them, that was when I realized why exactly Hobi had to be moved upstairs, we were taking Taehyung that night.

As the two drew closer I felt myself tense. Even though the anger I had towards them was immense, it still scared me a little bit to even think of killing someone who was once my friend, even if for a brief period of time
When they were about ten feet from me the pair stopped, almost seeming frozen, from either shock or fear.
“Is that…?” Taehyung began,  looking directly at me, almost through me before his words trailed off.
“Min Yoongi.” Jimin stated,  completing his sentence,  breathing a name I'd only heard over computer speakers in the past months. The name sounded disconnected and foreign at this point, like they weren't addressing me, who stood only feet in front of them.
The two continued to approach, slowly this time,  looking fearful, as if they’d seen a ghost.  I guess they had, in a way, considering that, in their eyes  I was supposed to be dead.  Jungkook was following just a few feet behind them, so light on his feet that he hadn't made a sound on the pavement.
