I wake up to an arm wrapped around me and i look up and see daniel sleeping peacefully and i smile when my door open and i see my mom walk in.
"Sweet- oh im sorry" my mom says once she sees daniel sleeping
" it's alright Mrs.flores" i hear daniel say and i sit up and look at him
" i thought you were asleep" i ask confused
" i was then i woke up a few minutes before you did" he says and i nod
" okay well i made breakfast so come down you both " my mom says and i nod and she walks out.
" so what do you want to do today" i ask daniel laying down next to him like before.
" well i don't know but we still have the project to do so maybe we go to my house and do your side " he says and i nod sitting back and walk into the bathroom.
After getting dressed in a pastel purple crop top and black shorts with my white slip on vans, I walk into my room and see daniel dressed and i smile.
" okay let go down" i say and he nods and i walk to my door opening it but he pulls me back and turns me and smiles at me
" what" i ask him letting a giggle out
" you forgot something" he says and i look at him confused
" i don't think so" i tell him jokingly and he frowns and i laugh
" i'm kidding here" i say and wrap arm around his neck pecking his lips and he kisses back immediately and i pull away laughing. ( Shown in Picture)
" happy" i say and he nods repeatedly and we walk down into the kitchen.
After eating breakfast, Daniel and i head out and get into his car.
I was sitting in the passenger seat when my phone buzzed and light up so i check and see what popped up.
Brandy is calling..
It read and my hear dropped at that moment.
" someone's calling you jess" daniel says and i look at him with fear
He see's my expression and stops the car since we were at a red light
" jess what is it" he asks me grabbing a hold of my hands
" it - It's my abusive ex" i croak out with a tear leaving my eye
