Chapter 22

Malia's pov

Eve came over and got me all pretty. She did my make up and my hair. She curled it and then put it in a bun. When she finished everything her mom came in with a long white bag that carries clothes in it.

"This is the dress malia" Eve's mom said and I smiled and took the dress.

"No one can see it but you until you walk down those stairs" she said and I i nodded

"Got it" I said and smiled

"You ready" eve said and I took a deep breath and nodded.

"Yeah I'm ready" I said

Eve and her mom walked out and let me put on the dress. It was a beautiful white dress. It had lace on the top it was honestly stunning.

I put it on and someone knocked on the door.

"Malia you ready?" Jeremy said behind the door.

"Yeah" I said

"When the music starts you can come down" he said

"Okay" I said

I looked at myself in the mirror and I smiled. I came so far and I'm barley gonna be 18. I'm finally happy and I wouldn't change a thing about my life.

I heard the music start and i started to go downstairs. As i go downstairs i see everyone and i smile. Mason was just staring with his mouth open. I got to his side and Sam elbowed him and he shook his head out of his thoughts and looked at me.

"You look stunning" mason said and I blushed and smiled.

"Thank you" I said

"Okay everyone head outside" mason said

Everyone walked outside and mason grabbed my hand.

"You ready to become Luna sunshine?" He said and I smiled

"Yes" I said

We walked outside and had a bonfire until the moon was at its apex.

When it reached the apex we started to walk through the woods. Then we stopped at the tree. Mason told me it's called the blood oath tree. It's an oath to the moon goddess saying you will protect the pack no matter what and stuff like that.

"Malia Lynn Parks do you swear on your life that you will fight, care, and protect this pack till your last breath." Mason said

"I swear" I said

"Do you swear to provide and shelter those who need it" mason said

"I swear" I said

"With this knife you will cut your palm and place it on the tree sealing the oath forever" mason said I grabbed the knife and I cut my palm and put my hand on the tree and it glowed. I felt a pull to the pack. I felt mind links flood my mind. I felt my connection with everyone and everyone felt it too.

"Your new Luna. Luna parks!" Mason said and everyone cheered and clapped and I smiled. Everyone started taking off their clothes now it was time for us to run through the woods. I went behind a tree and took off the dress and shifted into my wolf. I shook out my fur and it felt good. I walked to the front of the pack with mason and we started to run through the woods.

It felt amazing to run with the pack. It felt great that I was a Luna.

When we finished the run we went back and got our clothes on. We went back to the pack house and had a party.

"How does it feel to be luna" Sam said and I smiled

"It feels pretty good" I said and smiled

"Malia come on I want to talk to you" Jeremy said and I nodded and we walked outside.

"What's up" I said

"How are you feeling" he said

"I feel great" I said

"About Roger malia" he said and I sighed

"Mason told you" I said

"No he didn't me and sam are clueless. Who was he malia and why did he do that why did he do the power transfer knowing you could probably die?" He said and I looked down.

"The only people that know are my parents, Marcus, mason, Jordan, and eve" I said

"Okay" he said so I told him. I told him everything that happened with Roger. He was angry that he did that to me.

"What an asshole I'm glad he's dead I hope the moon goddess punished him" he said

"Jeremy I'm okay" I said and smiled

"Malia you don't need to lie" he said

"I'm not I'm honestly happy I have a pack I have my family I have my friends and I mate mason I'm really happy Jeremy" I said and he smiled

"Good" he said

"Told you I would get it out of you" he said and I laughed.

"I trust you and I trust Sam so if you want to tell him about it you can. I'm only telling people I can really trust. People that are close to me" I said

"The pack?" He said

"I'm not sure yet. I mean Roger told me something. He told me that I was always being watched. He knew everything about me. He said someone in the pack was watching me. That's how he knew everything and I mean I'm not scared anymore it's just that someone betrayed us." I said and he shook his head.

"Who would do that" Jeremy said

"I don't know I barley talked to anyone in the pack. The only people I talked to was the people I'm close to. Eve, mason, Anthony, Aaron, marcus, my parents, jordan, you, and sam" I said

"Then it has to be someone your close to. Someone who's always there. Someone who knows everything." He said

"The only people that knew everything were eve mason and Jordan at the time. Eve is my best friend she wouldn't do that. Jordan has a weird connection with my wolf. And mason is my mate." I said

"Then who the hell is it" he said

"Sam it's sam" he said in disbelief.

"It makes so much sense." He said

"What?" I said

"A few days before Roger came he kept asking what you were doing or where you were." He said

"Jeremy Sam is mason beta" I said

"Malia the day Roger was here Sam said that mason linked him and then later when we took you to his old cabin I told him it was good he linked Sam and he didn't know what I was talking about. He said he never linked Sam." He said

"We don't have A lot of proof and we can't accuse him without proof" I said

"Sams office you distract Sam I'll go look in his office" he said

"Your scent" I said

"I'll leave a window open" he said and I nodded

We went back inside and I'm hoping that it isn't Sam..
