Sarada was shaking behind Sasuke in fear 'T-This is Boruto?' She wondered 'N-No it can't be...this isn't his...chakra...no..this isn't the Boruto I know..' "Boruto what's happened to you?" Sarada asked. Boruto looked at Sarada and she flinched when she saw his red eyes "I've just become stronger Sarada" That was all he said "So Pain.." Boruto took a step towards him "Wanna challenge me now?" He smirked Pain ran to attack Boruto but he caught his fist and punched Pain in his stomach making Pain cough up blood. Everyone watched in fear as Boruto and Pain fought, but Sarada was more afraid than everyone else

*Sarada POV* Boruto...he's scaring me, he's never been this strong before..no it's not his strength that's scaring me..my eyes widen when I saw Boruto grab a kunai and began to approach Pain with it 'No! Don't tell me..! He's gonna kill him!'

"NO!" I began to run towards Boruto "STOP!" I wrapped my arms around him, hugging him, and he stopped walking "Don't do it!" Boruto turned towards me and I looked at his crimson red eyes "Please...!" I cried, I saw Boruto's eyes slowly turn back into his normal sky blue eyes and I hugged him tighter

"Please Boruto...." I felt his chakra slowly return to normal and he grabbed my hand

"Sorry if I scared you Sarada....it's just that..I promised to protect you but..you got hurt..." Boruto stood next to me still holding my hand

"It's just that...I'm in love with you Sarada...and I will always protect you"

'Boruto...loves me?' Sarada thought as she felt her heart racing "Boruto I'm gonna help you defeat him" Boruto smiled at Sarada "Well let me help you then" Boruto started to combine Kurama's chakra along with his and Sarada's 'M-My strength...is overflowing!'

*Boruto POV* "Boruto..!" I opened my eyes to see that I'm back at where Kurama is but I'm still holding on to Sarada.. 'Wait Sarada is here also?!' "What just happened?!" She asked "Um...." "Didn't you tell her Boruto?" We both looked up to see Kurama at the entrance of the cage I saw Sarada pale 'Oh boy'

*Sarada POV* "CHA! And what the heck?! That thing is huge!!!!!" I yelled as I saw the nine tails in front of me

I gulped 'Kurama is scary....but wait...how does Boruto have the nine tails and...how can I see him?' I wondered and I heard him chuckle "What's so funny fox?" Boruto asked Kurama smiled "It seems that you both have finally found out that you two are connected to me"
