Sophie nervously sat on the couch at Wylie's office.
Fitz sat next to her, and Sophie remembered all the lovey dovey couple she had to observe who sat on the very same couch.

Sandor had apparently already signed, and had gone to his home to pack his goblin stuff, or whatever it was. So it was just Sophie and Fitz, sitting on a couch engaged people sat on. "How are you feeling?" Fitz asked. The butterflies were fluttering in her chest with her heart. "Nervous and excited." Sophie said. Fitz hummed with a smile, "You'll do amazing." He promised, the side door opened and Wylie walked in with Kysil. "Good you guys are here." Wylie said motioning them to the desk. Sophie stood and took a step, tripping on her feet. Fitz caught her hand and pulled her back.

Sophie felt herself turn red as Wylie started chuckling. She was pressed close to Fitz, and she could feel his heart pounding under her hand. "Sophie." Sophie turned and grinned at Kysil. She walked over and hugged him. "How are you?" She asked. Kysil beamed, "Very well. Your report was incredible. I dare say you praise us all to much." He said. "No." Sophie protested. Kysil beamed showing just how truly happy he was with her report. "I give it a pass." Kysil said. "As do the others." He said. Sophie grinned, "Thank you." She breathed. Wylie cleared his throat and Sophie turned back to them. Fitz was waiting to sign with her.

"My congratulations to you as well." Kysil said. "Your hard work paid off." He said. "Thank you." Sophie said with a blush of pride, she stared at the form smoothed out on the desk. All twelve councilors had signed in their unique signatures.
Sandor name was signed at the bottom of the three lines. Sophie took the pen Wylie offered her, she glanced at Fitz with a smile. It was finally happening. She signed her name, in the many loops she had learned while she worked as councilor.

Fitz signed his name between hers and Sandor's. His writing was neat but the many curves and lines in it made it impossible to copy. Sophie looked at Wylie and he smiled. "Congratulations. You're now a representative." Wylie took the form and handed it to Kysil. "Have this sealed and sent to Quintin." He said. Kysil took the form, and left. "Now. For details." Wylie said as he pulled the map down. Three more red flags had gone up along the boarder.

"We've received more reports." Wylie told Sophie.
"You'll arrive here." Wylie said pointing at the white flag that was much closer to Eternalia. "From there, Sandor will lead you to a gnomish village here." Wylie said pointing at a green flag a few miles from the red flags. "This is where you will stay while you investigate." Wylie opened his desk drawer and pulled out two silver necklaces. "Wear these and don't take them off, they'll protect you when you enter Ravagog." Wylie said. Sophie out the familiar necklace over her neck. Her polyglot mentor had one of them.

Fitz took the other and placed it over his head. "What are they reporting?" He asked. "Both have expressed their concerns deeply, but none of the reports have been clear." Wylie said. Sophie had already figured that much, few ogres were studious and gnomes preferred personal encounters. "So what? We just go marching down there to see what's going on?" Fitz asked.

Wylie nodded. "Yes. At least Sophie is. You are there to take care of her health. Mentally, physically and emotionally, and Sandor will be there to protect you both." Wylie said. "Okay, Sandor said he'd have our bags packed...well mine at least." Sophie said. "I gave my bag to him." Fitz said. Wylie nodded, as he pulled two green crystals from another drawer. "Please don't lose these." He said handing them each one. The crystal had a clip on the end, that could clip on to the home crystal necklaces.

"So is that all?" She asked, eager to get started. Wylie nodded. "Yes, unless you have more business to finish." He said. Sophie nodded, they had arranged to meet Sandor in the mutual territories.
"Yeah, I have to stop by Dex's place." She said as she clipped the green crystal to her necklace. "Well other than that. Stay safe." Wylie said. Sophie smiled. "I'll try. Expect my report back soon." She said. She and Fitz left the office. Sophie hurried through the city that was already waking up. She had found a short cut to Slurps and Burps, when she was still councilor.
