Redemancy #1
The moment his eyes opened to the sunlight,
He thought of her smile just as bright. He went to the coffee shop where she worked,
"The usual?" She asked like everyday, a brow quirked. He watched from behind the shadows with awed stares,
As she smiled and served complementary èclairs. He emerged from the shadows and offered her a lift,
Small talk while he tried not to drive swift.Suddenly, fleeting smiles weren't enough anymore,
So he worked for hearing her laughter over a s'more. They grew closer and it became a routine,
He was now addicted to his beloved Christine."I'll tell her how I feel." He thought every night,
But his heart and his tongue continued to fight.********
Glossary:Redemancy: the act of loving in return.
Quirked: (here) raised.

ПоезіяHi. I'm a feminist who writes poetry because I'm in love with English literature. I've also had a romantic history which is confusing, (and almost funny) yet emotionally turbulent. And so this fact makes for a bunch of good things to write on.
