She's looking for something,
Searching for that one thing,The key to that lock,
Necessary to unlock,Feels like she's trapped,
In darkness she's wrapped,In need of solutions,
Can't control her emotions,Out of her mind with confusion,
Everything seems like an illusion,Where to find the key,
Where to look, where to be,If only she knew,
But alas, no clue,She rises and falls,
Tumbles and crawls,Breaks and comes apart,
Again mends her heart,Day and night,
She puts up a tough fight,Waves crash and retreat,
She stands in defeat,She has to pretend,
That someday this will end,Or else it will eat her alive,
And she needs to survive,Along with confusion, there's fear,
A strange, unknown, but great fear,Fear of what, she doesn't know,
It's killing her, painful and slow,Maybe it's the past, maybe it's the present,
The moon has changed from full to a Cresent.********

PoetryHi. I'm a feminist who writes poetry because I'm in love with English literature. I've also had a romantic history which is confusing, (and almost funny) yet emotionally turbulent. And so this fact makes for a bunch of good things to write on.
