PRAISE & WORSHIP is my choice for the name of this study. I feel that these two are worthy gifts we can give to God. It is, perhaps, the only acts we can personally give which comes from our hearts to the throne of God. No one can do it for us. Whether you feel God's Hand intervening for you or you see Him working in your behalf, He is still the only God! He cares for you and loves you. If all is in turmoil around you, sickness has knocked you down, people have disappointed you, look at what God has created and thank Him for that. Praise Him for what is not shifting and changing. He will take care of the rest. Give praise for the permanent things! What if there were no sun, stars, moon or rain? Start there and begin praise for those unchangeable things. Begin with a thank you to God for your Salvation! He is God and He has made the world and all that is in it. Raise your hands and open your arms toward heaven! I know that He is waiting to hear from you.
Praise is an acknowledgment of God in control. Worship is what we give back to God out of respect and honor for His love and care. As the hymn says:
Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below;
Praise Him above all heavenly host,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost!
